I think basically it's the locals place where they take the misses on her birthday etc and give her a good hammering, out of ear shot of the kids, possibly while taking a few sniffs of the magic powder, available from the dealers often booked in for the weekends themselves ......

Very disappointed! I had booked an afternoon tea and had been looking forward to it. Unfortunately 6 days before it I had a phone call to say it had been cancelled(very little time to arrange something else) There wasn’t a proper explanation apart from ‘we have a large party coming in’. I asked for a call back which I received, slightly different information given. I was informed the Government have requested the hotel as a quarantine hotel. That should have been explained in the first call! Disappointed in the communication, also didn’t receive the follow up call I was promised for the following day.

We came to MK for the weekend to see our friends (we arrived home today). We stayed at this hotel (me and my partner in one room, and two friends who had a room each). The whole hotel was really beautiful and absolutely spotless! Our beds were all super comfy, lovely powerful shower, lovely clean rooms, wonderful air con, every single member of staff were so helpful and friendly! The hotel was soooo quiet and peaceful too. No rowdy bunches or anything like that. The location was perfect- 10 min taxi (around seven quid) to the centre of MK so perfect if you are wanting to spend time there. The breakfast was amazing. I came down by myself as my friends/partner were all hungover from our night out in MK. The breakfast staff (a younger guy) was soooo kind, friendly and helpful even though I came down a little bit too late I think! We will 100% be back and welcoming more of our friends to stay here! Thank you so much x…

Stayed here as was booked through work for The British Grand Prix Weekend. Had to change rooms twice because the first room had ants running around the floor and the duvet had red stains on it. The second room had someone's boogies wiped on the wall near the bed and the toilet seat was broken and mouldly curtains . The manger apparently had checked the next room and deemed it suitable. The pictures attached are his idea of acceptable. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this Hotel to anyone and I really don't want a response from the hotel... Beyond poor.... Either get a new Manager or a new cleaner....

F1 weekend. The price was super expensive but can be expected on this particular weekend. The renovation which has been done is awful throughout the building, simply a coat of paint. The rooms are okay but the beds are unbearable. I’m 28 and I’ve never woken up unable to move my head or neck after a nights sleep until staying there. Plus the mattress is lob sided so it rolls you from one side to the other. Food. Just don’t eat there. I LOVE my food and I’ll honestly eat anywhere or anything. DO NOT EAT HERE.

A group of us stayed for silverstone , the rooms were ok , lobby looks smart , restaurant only reopened this week . So biggest thing missing was good customer service . Some staff tried but didn’t quite get it , so limited eye contact , using COVID as an excuse .we ordered starters and a main course , the main course arrived first , we asked for a drinks order and the staff member carried on laying up tables that weren’t needed for 24 hours . Our rooms were not serviced , covid used as an excuse again so had to ask for refills of coffee and dry towels . Staff seem to have forgotten that eye contact and good communication with customers solves many issues . Hopefully they can bring this back on track as it has potential . Lastly please sort both fire doors leaving from the restaurant , one was stiff to open the other one your staff member couldn’t open at all this is dangerous !!…

Had a voucher to use for afternoon tea, on arrival very dull atmosphere, we were seated right in front of the bar where everyone has to walk past, we asked to move but had to take our plates with us (which was fine) we were just happy to move. The tea was just teabags in a pot which is a shame as part of the afternoon tea experience is loose leaf. The selection was “ok” but the scones were packet and not home made and jam and cream And the prawns we had were served in plastic throw away pots. Unsure if this is third usual style or if its because we had a voucher - unfortunately not a great experience - I’m shocked they charge £20 for this

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. I can not fault this booking. £78 for 2 nights with a superb cream tea included on both days. The location is perfect for a 10 min walk into Newport Pagnell. Loads of free parking at the hotel. All the we met staff in reception and catering were helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel has an active Covid 19 policy in place to minimise risk which was reassuring. The rooms are not massive but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The room was clean and all facilities worked fine.

The bar wasent available but not their fault as having issues getting deliveries. Room was small but clean and well laid out. The staff were pleasant but will have to say Jamie went above and beyond making sure we had everything we wanted, accommodating us in the bar area to watch football. Definitely will return. Thank you
