Me and my husband just back from our stay in room 3.We stayed fo 3 nights b+b and hotel ,lovely young couple have taken over from previous owners. It is spotlessly clean the room on suite shower unit bathroom shower is okay my husband managed and he's broad shoulderd. The room had a electric heater plus radiator which kept it warm enough. Tea+coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, put in room towels changed every day room cleaned everyday. Its an old victorian house so can be little chilly in dining area we're there is electric fire. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and you was always asked by host if you wanted more.We enjoyed our 2nd stay within 4 months at the claremont and wish the hosts all the best for the future.

Great place to stay, location is perfect two minutes walk to the beach and shops literally ten mins walk away.
The hosts Amy and Jeremy were fantastic, couldn’t do enough for me, as a lone traveller this warm welcome is so important, they made me feel so relaxed and cared for. The breakfast was second to none and I could tweak anyway I wanted with no issues, they even welcomed a member of my family to have breakfast with me, which was so nice of them and we both had more than enough to eat, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The room was so tasty and warm and they provided extra blanket just in case but it certainly wasn’t needed.
The cleanliness is the best I have ever experienced, fresh towels everyday if you so wish, I will definitely be staying again and will be certainly recommend in this little treasure of a b&b i have now found.
Thank you for looking after me so well and will look forward to my next stay with you both.

We stayed at the Claremont for a week in the budget double room. Found it exceptionally clean, well stocked with teas coffee and hot chocolate as well as toilet roll and a couple of little shower gels ( just in case you need something to tide you over).
The bedroom is great in that it has a toilet separate from the shower and the bed is really comfy.
The breakfasts were brilliant. The perfect combination of Alison’s hosting and Ray’s ‘egg’cellent eggs. Would recommend the scrambled and poached kind.
It’s perfectly located for lytham, St Anne’s, Fairhaven lake and only a short drive from Blackpool.
It’s a really quiet area - haven’t slept that well in ages.
I would not hesitate in returning and would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to visit the area and get a great bargain with amazing hosts.
Thanks Alison & Ray

Situated in a quiet residential road, within a short walking distance from the promenade. A warm welcome on arrival and showed to room 3 on the 1st floor. Room clean and bright with quite a few personal touches from the proprietors. The room was a little quirky as it seemed to be in two halves, with a double sized bed in the centre. This is probably because of the addition of an en suite to the room which is always a good thing. Tea and coffee making facilities, and toiletries are always an added bonus. Breakfast is served until 9 o'clock and all produce is of a high quality and perfectly cooked. On face value this is an excellent B&B and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
However, the following is why I have given 4 stars and not 5. The predicament I have is that I don't normally do B&B's and this is where it gets a little awkward. Although there is no real faults with the Claremont, I prefer the concept of the corporate hotel and not the feeling of staying at someone's home. It's just a personal thing. My partner loved it. The only criticisms I have is that the bed was of the metal frame type which makes noises when you move (they all do) and you cannot stretch out at the bottom. Also for me as a paid up member of the overweight club due to recent retirement and covid lockdown, the mattress was far too soft and the space around the bed was a little narrow. I caught my arm on the metal wardrobe door a few times. Some people prefer a soft mattress, some a hard. I'm a medium. I would have liked the breakfast time extended to 10 o'clock as after all we are on holiday. Did I enjoy my stay? Yes I did. Would I recommend The Claremont? Absolutely. Would I stay again? Yes, but probably not in this room and with a bed with a harder mattress.

We had a lovely 2 night stay from 30th July til 1st August 2021
Alison is a lovely, friendly lady and although we didn't meet Ray, he makes a great cooked breakfast.
The room was very clean, with towels and refreshments topped up every day. The area is quiet and the B&B within walking distance to the pier, restaurants, cafes and shops.
The bed was clean and comfortable and we slept very well each night.
The weather wasn't up to scratch, but we'll definitely be back when it's sunnier and will stay here again for sure. Thank you Alison and Ray for your hospitality. X

We recently stayed at the Claremont in July 2022 for a little mini moon after our wedding day. The couple who run this lovely little B&B were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, as was the whole place and there were some nice touches in the rooms as well.
As it was our mini moon they had put some chocolates and a card as a little welcome/congratulations, which we thought was very sweet of them!!
They also recommended a restaurant close by, Un Momentum and it did not disappoint, the waitresses were lovely and welcoming and made us feel very special when they found we had just got married, the food was amazing and the ambience of the place felt like we could have been in Italy!!

I love St Annes and now so does my new husband!! It was his first visit to St Annes and he loved it!! We would definitely stay at The Claremont again, Oh and the food was very nice and well cooked.

Visited because of a family emergency on the second day after the easing of restrictions. Alison did all that was asked and more to ensure everyone was covid safe.

My room was very clean and welcoming and had tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast consisted of a cereal course, the porridge was very enjoyable, followed by a full english using local produce, the eggs in whatever form were done to perfection, and there was enough choice to have as many or few items that you desired.

Highly recommended and it would be my first choice of stay again either by myself or as a couple

Absolutely wonderful stay. Room was lovely and cosy and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were a bonus. TV worked well.
Very helpful and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home.
Breakfast had a fantastic selection.
Great location to walk in to town and to the beach. We walked from the train station which was an easy flat 10 to 15 minute walk.
Hope to visit again. We highly recommended The Claremont.

We cannot fault our stay at The Claremont. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast each day was made to order, and was delicious, arrived swiftly and was plentiful. It was a five minute walk to the beach and about 12 minutes walk to the pier. It was a ten minute drive to Fairhaven Lake. There was lots of on-street parking available at all times.
