We stayed at the Gaydon with our two year old little girl and the experience was superb from the outset. A warm welcome and a genuine interest was taken in what our plans were for the trip. Cakes were left in our very spacious and wonderfully clean room along with a personal welcome letter. Throughout the stay we could not...

We only stayed for one night at the beginning of October but it was perfect for us. We were attending a celebratory luncheon in Lytham and the owners, Sue and John, made sure our room was ready early for us so that we could change for the occasion after travelling. They were so helpful in every way. We had a...

Whilst looking for somewhere to stay on the Fylde Coast we were impressed with the reviews for The Gaydon Hotel. We were not disappointed, the hosts, Sue and Jon, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and no grease to be found anywhere on the plate!!! The room...

Overall impression was good but maybe not as child welcoming as perhaps it could be.particularly with smaller children, felt like I needed to keep my 2 year old under lock and key.The residents lounge was full of items which were a great magnet for 2 year old inquisitive fingers. We ended up operating a shift system for breakfast, one of...

We did not have a problem with this little two year old boy ,his parents however could not control him from the moment they arrived .We could not permit him to jump down the stairs or run around the corridors starting at 6.00 am due to safety concerns and the consideration for our other guests. We offered early breakfasts for...
