Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous place to stay. Everything was perfect including the beautiful fresh breakfast and the homemade jams. The butter was the best we've ever tasted. Would go back without hesitation. Fantastic attentive hosts and so friendly. Thank you Andy and Norah for such an enjoyable stay. John, June and family.

This was our first stay in St Anne's. We came here for a mini break. The accommodation was splendid. Warm. Light. Airy. Quiet. FREE parking right outside (subject to availability) and in our case it was right outside our window. The room contained so many thoughtful touches - fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdrier........... If its not there, the chances are you don't need it! The breakfast was AMAZING with our choices cooked to order and served piping hot. Again, like the room, the menu is vast with all kinds of cereal available, fresh fruit, dried berries, local yoghurt etc etc etc. Disabled friendly rooms on site - subject to availability. Super location - close to the amenities and beach, but off the main road so quiet. Great nights sleep with comfortable beds and patterned crisp linen. It really is a "hidden gem" and the hosts - Andrew and Norah - put the icing on the cake! Recommended

This hotel is an absolute gem. It's cosy, quirky and the antithesis to large chains. The house is beautiful, our room was remarkably well equipped and breakfast one of the best we've ever had, tailored to the extent that you could not only have eggs boiled, scrambled, poached or fried but also with or without yolks/whites. Service was friendly and unhurried. The mantra is to give guests a "happy plate" which was certainly our experience. Excellent local advice for places to eat in the evening and public transport. Ideally located for local amenities. Only regret was we only had a short stay to enjoy this marvelous experience.

Back from another great stay at the Breverton Hotel in St. Annes. The hosts, Nora and Andy were great as always, making us feel at home and giving us great tips on what to see and do in the area. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds comfortable. The breakfasts as expected were fab, with a variety of choices, from cereals and fruits, to cooked breakfasts that are absolutely top notch (the challenge is to try leave a little space for toast accompanied by Nora's epic homemade jam selection). Nora and Andy really go the extra mile to source every element on the menu – it’s this level of detail and care that always make it such a great stay. The hotel itself is in a great location, 5 minutes’ walk from the beach and pier. You are also spoilt for choice for places to eat and drink, all within a very short walk, with just a 10 minute drive or bus ride to Blackpool or Lytham. I would highly recommend the Breverton Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in St. Annes. It has long since become our go-to place when staying at the Fylde coast, and will be as long as Nora and Andy keep making our stays so very memorable.
