Hotel room clean, bed comfy, tea making facilities good choice topped up every day, shower excellent. Staff were very helpful. Good location near sea front and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast cereals, juice and fruit, tea or coffee and then you order your cooked breakfast individually. lots of choice, cooked well and food sourced locally. We didnt use the restaurant and bar as we were out most of time with family/friends who live locally. It was a good base for exploring local area and seeing the Blackpool Illuminations.

Excellent in every aspect. We called for Sunday lunch for seven people. This was our first visit. When we entered we were greeted by a lovely lady playing the keyboard and singing. We found this to be a nice welcoming touch. Within minutes we were shown to our table by lovely staff who quickly asked us if we wanted a drink from the bar. After a few minutes which gave us all the chance to look at the menu and decide what we would like to eat, a pleasant waitress came to take our order. Our starters arrived all together and everyone commented how hot and tasty their food was. The main meal was met with appreciative sounds of the clattering of cutlery on plates as we all tucked into the Roast Sirloin of beef with all the trimmings. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. Seven clean plates later the waitress returned to ask if we wanted dessert which even though we all said that we were full we just couldn’t resist all the homemade goodies including sticky toffee pudding with a choice of ice cream, custard or cream. Some chose tiramisu which was described as delicious and some had Raspberry parfait which went down well. Then we finished off with tea or coffee. We all said that we would return again soon.…

I really enjoyed my three nights stay at the Bedford . All the staff are very friendly and helpful and have great rapport with the guests.. I was in a single room on the third floor and I found it very comfortable. I like the fact that the radiator could be controlled so I was always able to get just the right temperature. I'm 6 foot tall and the single bed that I slept in was very comfortable. There was a nice wooden wardrobe and chests of drawers. there was a kettle so that you could make tea or coffee or hot chocolate with the sachets and teabags and milk in those little tubes.. I had different biscuits every day from the lovely housekeeping ladies. My booking included breakfast and dinner. I really enjoyed both, and I strongly recommend booking the dinner when booking the room with the hotel because I think it's fabulous value. All the food in all three course was fresh and tasty and the restaurant staff are top notch. On one night, I went to see a tango show with friends and we ate elsewhere after the show and I really missed my dinner at the Bedford. The reception staff are fabulous too, very welcoming and helpful. This was my first trip to Lytham, Saint Annes and I thoroughly recommend the Bedford as a great place to stay. …

I booked a family Sunday lunch for our party of five. The food was excellent and really good value for money. Service was efficient but was stood out for me most of all was the friendliness of all the staff towards us and our two toddlers who came along. They really enjoyed seeing Tinker, the parrot, in reception and being allowed to feed him with a shelled peanut Highly recommended

We highly recommend the Bedford Hotel. We arranged a funeral reception at this venue and it was beautifully done, in the hotel’s elegant ballroom. The buffet was abundant and of excellent quality. The staff were all very polite and professional. A big ‘thank you’ to all the staff involved.

Absolutely fabulous in every detail, so much attention paid to clients comfort and pleasure. Lovely boutique room. Food worthy of Master Chef. Lovely friendly helpful staff. The dance floor was excellent ,all combining to give me and my friends the best dancing weekend ever, already booked for next year .

It was the first time I stayed in this hotel. Location is central, minutes away from a promenade or shops. Parking availability is excellent. Accommodation excellent too but the most enjoyable was a food, very tasty and beautifully served by excellently kind and welcoming staff.
