Excellent value especially given the area and price of other local options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast cooked quickly and good quality. Not noisy despite being a pub. Only downside was the offering of the hate-ridden Dailly Mail and comparable Sun newspapers at breakfast time , although I didn't detect any xenophobic, homophobic or sexism from the staff. Would... We stayed here for 3 nights. On arrival the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us if they could. We booked a double room with a private shower. The room was very clean and they provided a Tassimo machine where we could make coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc in the room. The bathroom was... More

I booked this B&B for myself and my parents, as we were visiting the area with friends. What a lovely place to stay. The rooms were really nice, clean with good facilities. The breakfast was home cooked and nothing was to much trouble. Mags was amazing. They even got some flowers and put them in the room for my mum... More

Lovely over night stay for a wedding up the road. Generous sized bedroom with a lovely Bosch coffee maker, lovely hot shower with good water pressure too. Breakfast was freshly made and hot. The daughter of the pub was very accommodating and pleasant. Would stay there again.

Lovely and friendly pub. Good selection of beers for a small pub. A nice beer garden and the most friendly staff you could ask for. 30 second walk from Lymington town station and lots of sport on (but not rowdy in the slightest). Would highly recommend if you are down in Lymington for the day.

We stayed for two nights.very convenient close to lymington station and within easy walking distance of town centre and harbour.A very friendly family run hotel. Good breakfast. Our room (no1) was at the front of the hotel a little noisy early in the morning from traffic but not too bad. The bar area was a little dark but there is... More

Second visit here but not last. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the car park at the back is good and the gardens are immaculate. The hotel \ bar is clearly in an old building but it is well maintained and attractive. The room was huge and some great features like strong wifi, good coffee machine and usb plugs are... More

We had a wonderful evening here. The management were very accommodating with our requests and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, considerate and 'on the ball'. Thank you for a great night away en route home from our holiday. It certainly was more than a mere stop over.

This is the ideal place to stay the night before catching an early ferry. Friendly welcome and a first class breakfast. Really close to the town just two minute walk. The only thing wrong is they don't open the bar until 5 pm.

I recently stayed here for two nights with my husband. We decided to choose somewhere different for a couple of nights away. Russ was very friendly and happy to help, the pub, restaurant and rooms were all very clean with neutral decor. A couple of marks within the decor, but this never caused a problem! We had a room next... More
