Tobi the host IS the Britannia . He has a wonderful rare quality in hospitality these days that makes you feel you leave as a friend but is professional in his friendly and accommodating hosting to another level . Anything you need help with Tobi provides (even storing plants we bought whist there in his courtyard garden at his suggestion!!what a kind gesture Tobi Thankyou!) Restaurant recommendations, parking your car,and local town information are all part of his wonderful service . From the moment of making our reservation Tobi was (instantly!) responsive to each and every message we sent .Top service even before our arrival. The Britannia is a quirky boutique bed and breakfast in a perfectly located part of Lymington being moments away from the waterfront. Tobi cooks a beautifully fresh breakfast in front of you in his welcoming friendly kitchen whist you relax and drink his delicious coffee. The rooms are individual with a cosy warm feel and quality fixtures and fittings. We stayed in the beaulie room in the new part. Only 1 negative to a wonderful weekend away was we could only stay 2 nights…gutted! Thankyou Tobi We will be back 🙌 Neil and Debbie

Hubby and I booked a few days away and after the reviews we read for Britannia House, booked the B&B. We were not disappointed. We were staying at the two storey apartment. Tobi greeted us like old friends and nothing was too much trouble, he showed us around and then left us to explore the rooms and settle in. On entering the flat, there is a lobby area with a stand for the coats, a large mirror on the wall. Stairs up to the lounge that has a comfortable leather couch and armchair, TV and some great artwork, there is a balcony with a bistro set, looking out over the boats and beyond to the Isle of Wight. There is a kitchen area with table & chairs, looking out to the rear and the car park for the flat The bedroom is on the lower level, it is tastefully decorated, with a couch at the end of the bed and plenty of storage in the room. En suite bathroom is good, with lovely big towels and a good shower. Breakfast is served in the main kitchen and Tobi does a great breakfast, choice of cereal, juice, yogurts and toast, jams & marmalade, Tobi cooks and kept us entertained while he did this, the breakfast is of very good quality and cooked to perfection. The main Lymington train station is across the road but it is very quiet. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and can't wait to go back. Thank you Tobi for a lovely stay.

Perfect location and warm welcome. We stayed for 3 nights in the Britannia room and can confirm other positive comments left by guests. We parked the car on the premises and never used it till it was time to go home, so much within walking distance. A lovely place with a great host would stay here again if back in the area.
