We had sailed fromPortsmouth and came across this excellent eatery. Although very busy, extremely so, the staff were efficient, friendly, courteous and witty.
The food was ok, but given the crush, it was amazing!
I would highly recommend this place any day. Well done.
My partner and I went for dinner here the end of sept .
My advice is go at lunchtime on a Sunday as by the evening they had run out of the roast .

Visited Lymington4 years ago and always stayed at the same hotel but thought we would try The Mayflower.
We were greeted by the manager who told us the restaurant and bar opening times, showed us our room , tea and coffee facilities etc.
Stayed overnight in one of their luxury rooms. The staff are lovely and attentive. The room was large, spotless and beautifully equipped and furnished. Inner in the restaurant was excellent with a good wine list. The pub has a great atmosphere. Breakfast the next day...More
