A very comfortable place to stay. Not too far from the centre. We only stayed one night, but would recommend to families or couples. We were at the front in a large room but no traffic noise. Clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast very tasty.

Beautiful building that's been lovingly restored to an amazing high standard. Gorgeous bed, and bedding, even the lovely fluffy towels smelt of fresh laundry. One of the best cooked breakfast I've ever had on our first morning and an amazing omelette on our second morning. Great views and conveniently situated within waking distance of a good selection of pubs and...

Stayed in room 4 for 3 nights and lovely room, spacious with great bed and facilities. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and one of the best I have had. The hosts were always helpful and great characters and enjoyed our stay. Parking was not an issue on the road outside and a stones throw from the beach and promenade. Ten minutes...

Excellent B&B. Just the ticket when staying in Lowerstoft. Ann and Colin are marvellous hosts. Great breakfast, nice to have a menu and I enjoyed my poached Haddock. Comfortable bed and nice size room. We had a great sea view as well. Wifi was fast and free. Finally it was pleasing to note that it was the childhood home of...

We have stayed here several times and have always been impressed. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. There is quality here, from the rooms to the breakfast. The location opposite the seafront is very convenient.

On one of the hottest days in the year we arrived at Britten House for our second stay. Right next to the sea (which was warm enough to swim in) this B+B has an excellent and convivial host as well as comfortable rooms and a good breakfast to start the day

There was a time when a holiday consisted of driving to the coast, sitting on a beach in the sun while reading a book and having cream tea in the afternoon. Staying in a Bed and Breakfast, usually made out of a grand Victorian house was part of this experience. The seaside towns are somewhat faded, the beaches a bit...

We stayed in this lovely B & B in Lowestoft last weekend and stayed in the 2nd floor family room. Had great views, lovely clean room, extra little touches like a fan, mini fridge etc made it even better. Warm welcome on arrival and very nice freshly cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
