Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So I booked this through Expedia
£108 for two night‘s didn’t think that was too bad.
On arrival was a bit surprised by the location (maybe I should’ve looked a bit more into that.)
The room we were given, we paid for was a studio room with a little kitchen, it was very nice, during the evening realise there was a leak in the ceiling contacted someone who we assume was the manager. He came up realised it was a leak spoke to his boss who moved us to a downgraded room, where we was given a refund for a second night, but the second room was just as good just didn’t have a kitchen, if I had to be really picky Id say the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on or didn’t sleep on as the case maybe, and the walls are thin and can hear water in the next room which must be the shower, I think maybe they could invest in some mattress toppers.
But the customer service was 100% brilliant can’t fault, we had a drink in the bar a few times that was really nice, the outlook was nice apart from the big roundabout that we was on, we was very close to the water so that was nice. Would’ve been perfect if they could’ve fed us but they didn’t do food, we went next door to the hotel and had a meal in there instead, which was very nice, all in all it was okay, it was what it was, if it wasn’t for the staff I think I might of given it like three stars but the issue we had with the roof was sorted out quickly and we was moved and given a refund, so yes okay stay.

Booked a weekend away as a belated birthday treat for my partner , key code access was sent via text and the room was easy to access . Paid £55 for a night which is really reasonable. Lovely room , small but comfy and perfect for a night , a bonus was whoever stayed previously Left their netflix and amazon account signed in so obviously that was a bonus lol . Nice bars about the local area and nice beaches . All in all we had a lovely weekend . Thankyou

Thought this would be rooms in a pub/inn etc but it was a room above a bar called the Wolf Inn. So when we arrived we were a little dubious about the stay- you had to go around to the rear outside steps and it was all key code entry. We were in room 7 which looks out onto the roundabout and above the outside seating area of the bar. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The furniture was very glitzy but all in good condition and in spite of its position on the main road we were not bothered by traffic noise or noise from the bar downstairs. The bathroom was very compact but had an excellent shower and how much time do you need to spend in a bathroom? All in all a good stay.

Really not very impressed at all. Tasteless drinks, with dismissive, rude & arrogant staff.

While being the ‘designated driver’ for some friends at an engagement party, I was in ‘pole position’ to see the circus unfold. Guests were unable to consume bland, watered down cocktails, while the majority of the staff grumpily growled at guests to ‘get out of the way’ near the bar. Worst was to come as, despite our group being the very opposite of vociferous, we were repeatedly rudely asked to leave at the end of the night - and were in fact practically forced out of the door.

Two for one drinks between 8-10pm on a Saturday night sums it up. Definitely won’t be returning: sober or after a few drinks!

We loved our stay here! It was so beautifully done out, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! There was a hair dryer, shower gels, shampoo, soaps etc. The bed was super comfy and the pillows good quality!
It was really easy to check in with the PIN code system, you get sent a code to the main door and a second code for the specific room you’re staying in. It worked first time, no messing about.
Thank you, we highly recommend and will be back soon!

We stayed in room 8:

Good points
It had a window which had nice views if you leant out
Nice shower
Good TV

The rest of it was poor.

The bed was dreadful......Very Uncomfortable and felt like we were sleeping on the springs.

Small room with tiny shower room.

Horribly Noisy from the bar at the front of the building and drunks staggering homeafter closing.

They need to sell some of the bling and invest in some decent mattresses for their guests.

This stay made a Premier Inn seem like the Ritz.

First of all I would like to say that Josh who works at The Wolf Inn is really helpful a really nice guy,
Our room was lovely & clean, lovely fluffy towels & toiletries provided.
We stayed in room 5 the room was great but we were overlooking the walkway to all the rooms. Unfortunately they have ash trays & stools right outside the bedroom window which is ridiculous. It’s the middle of summer & you can’t have the window open due to smokers standing outside & chatting early in the morning or late at night our room stank of cigarettes so we had to keep window closed it was awful. It’s totally unacceptable if people need to smoke it should be downstairs away from the rooms as it’s far too close. There should be nets up at the window too as during the day if you are in the room everyone can look in especially when they are all congregating outside. One man actually put his face up at the window to peer in so no privacy. It’s a shame as the room was nice.

From lighthouse to lighthouse. The Wolf Inn was very clean and the staff were friendly. Covid19 has changed everything upside down and as such the personal interaction with staff is gone. Non the less the codes for the doors were texted to me before I arrived and were easy enough to understand in order to open the outside door as well as a separate code for the bedroom door. Good security!!

Room 8 clean/tidy that’s as good as it got..good job I hadn’t taken the cat because there was no room to swing one!! No space at all to put bags because the room was full of bling maybe get rid of dressing table and squeeze a tiny wardrobe in the corner and the bed well how many springs do you need to dodge might be better to invest in new mattresses..it was a shame because I loved the location…the room was probably best suited to a single person

I’ve visited the wolf a few times mainly enjoying drinks with friends, excellent value for money in the bar. Cocktails are made from scratch I noticed even on the 2-4-1 deal very impressed & taste as good as they look. Lovely staff very friendly that make you feel welcome & with a great atmosphere throughout. Being local to the area friends of mine who have visited stayed in the accommodation above, again brilliant value for money a boutique hotel with a personal touch.
