Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here a few years back and it has been refurbished since then, but I don't need to describe the hotel as all Travelodges are basically the same; clean room, comfy bed , good shower , you know what to expect. Extra plus points here are as follows; 1 Really easy to find being just off a big roundabout on the A47 [ formerly A12] . Despite location it is far enough back from road to be nice and quiet 2 Big, free car park 3 Helpful and friendly staff , both at reception and also housekeeping 4 Harvester on site , McDonalds next door and Tesco superstore with cafe adjacent so meals and breakfasts taken care of. All in all if you are on a tight budget it's as good as you are likely to get .

Hotel was clean and handy shop at Tesco. Room was clean and warm but I found the bed uncomfortable for someone disabled with bad back. Shame there was no bar for evening drinks. Ground floor rooms in long corridor and the floor was really creaking so heard everyone's footsteps.

We booked two family rooms at this hotel as myself, one of my daughter and two granddaughters were visiting one of my other daughters locally, The rooms were small and really not suitable for a family, the single (z bed) in my room hadn’t even been made up for my granddaughters, the single bed in my daughters room was too uncomfortable for my other granddaughter to sleep on, so she ended up in the small double bed with her mum. We always strip the beds when leaving and really wish we hadn’t, The duvets and mattresses were stained with what looks like urine. The rooms had not been deep cleaned either. The receptionist didn’t seem to be very supportive of our complaint and couldn’t even give us an email for head office, told us to find it in the main website. We will never stay in a travelodge ever again

We have visited this travelodge a few times now to visit my sister. Lovely location with everything you need, we have dealt with a lovely lad called Sam on reception the last couple times and could not fault him. He is welcoming and polite and a lovely lad, he always has a laugh with my nan and is very helpful. Nothing is to much for Sam, he makes our stay that little bit better! Thankyou travelodge and a special thankyou to Sam! X

Staff seemed really friendly what we saw of them when they were actually at the reception desk. Was expecting a king size bed but was a double. Shower was dripping constantly. Room was very small. Could certainly do with nicer plumper pillows and duvet. Needed a better mattress as was way too hard and woke up in agony the next morning. Floors creaked throughout the room and hallways waking you up in the night when someone walked past the room. Location is perfect just need a little sorting really to make the experience more comfortable.

Well placed hotel for other facilities - supermarket, restaurant, petrol and a well known burger eatery. On a main route through Suffolk Norfolk border. Short drive to beaches or the broads. Staff very helpful.

Lovely team who helped us with any of our needs and was nice and quiet throughout our stay. Enjoyed the harvester right next to it and Tesco was convenient for a quick late night drink. The housekeepers were lovely and wouldn’t fault our stay!
