We spent three nights in the family room, which comfortably accommodated my wife and I, plus our two children (13 & 11).

The welcome from Janet & Kevin was very warm and friendly. Our room was lovely, with lots of space and very clean / well presented. Breakfast (in the conservatory overlooking the walled garden) each morning was excellent, with a wide selection of cereals, fresh fruit, and delicious cooked food.

The location was perfect for exploring the local area, just a short drive from all local amenities, yet far enough out of town to be very quiet and peaceful.

We highly recommend this place and it's lovely owners/hosts. Thank you Janet & Kevin for a wonderful stay.

This was our second visit and stay in the family room. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of fruit, juices, and cooked items. The rooms are very quiet and well equipped with microwave, fridge, etc. The full hospitality tray including milk and water was well received. Plenty of high quality toiletries and hair dryer also provided. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area as it is a great location and Janet and Kevin could not be better hosts.

Stayed here for a few days recently. Lovely large rooms with all the conveniences you would need, including Wi-Fi. Janet was a great host, very helpful and accommodating. The farm is in a quiet area outside of Lowestoft, but only a 10 minute drive to Lowestoft center. A great place to stay if you want to explore Norfolk/Suffolk areas.

We stayed as a couple for four nights. Janet and Kevin were great hosts, the breakfast each morning was excellent and there was a good choice of food. The room was quiet and peaceful. The property was quiet and rural but just a short drive to amenities.
It was nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room, we made use of both.
The WiFi did drop a few times but it wasn't a problem and it was free.

Perfect stopover whilst visit friends in the area. Excellent spacious accommodation with all the comforts plus the addition of a fridge & microwave, tea & coffee making facilities with fresh milk being a nice touch.
There is an outside area with table & chairs to enjoy the sunshine if required. Breakfast excellent, beautifully served in the conservatory. Janet & Kevin were excellent hosts, great find which we highly recommend if staying in this area.

We stayed here for three days whilst I was on business and my wife met up with some old friends. I chose I over the similarly priced Travel Lodge as it looked more accommodating.
Our stay was perfect! The room offered great space and flexibility, with all you could want from a quaint cottage style apartment.
Laurel Farm itself is nicely tucked away from the busier roads and is a short walk from the excellent Blue Boar, which offers great food and beer. The surrounding area is great for a peaceful stroll into the countryside.

We will be back next year!

We've visited Laurel Farm on several occasions now, whilst calling in on relatives in Suffolk, and would recommend it greatly. The rooms in the courtyard cottages are extremely comfortable and spotless, and it's a great spot from which to explore the best of Suffolk by car or bicycle. Janet has made us feel extremely welcome, and there was a lovely breakfast waiting for us in the morning - a range of fruit, cereal, toast and a full cooked English breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lowestoft or the coastal towns.

Had an excellent couple of nights at The Courtyard, Laurel Farm. Janet and Kevin were very welcoming and friendly hosts.

Our room was in the converted barn and was very spacious and comfortable. Lots of nice touches, fresh milk in fridge both days and
re-stocked tea, coffee etc.

Breakfast was included and the selection was very good.

The location was perfect for visiting and exploring the Broads, Southwold and the surrounding area.

Would recommend.

We were going to go to Southwold, but struggled to find a B&B or Hotel that would accommodate my Wife, me and our two teenage children. We didn't want 2 double beds, neither did the kids ! Laurel Farm have a great Family room with a mezzanine floor with 2 single beds for the children. We were greeted warmly on arrival, had all the facilities you'd expect and were even offered Torches and VIz jackets to walk home from the Pub in !! Breakfast was great and it was hard to fault The Courtyard. For Mid October it was a great find. In Summer I'm sure it's heaven..If we pass this way again we'll definitely stay. Highly recommended and very well priced.

My husband and I have just spent 1 night at Laurel Farm. Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting. We had our evening meal at The Blue Boar which is about 1 kilometre away and the food and service was excellent. Breakfast at Laurel farm was also excellent. The owners were very friendly and accommodating including the lovely Mabel (a lovely chocolate lab). I would highly recommend Laurel Farm and we will definitely be returning.
