Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Three of us stayed at Homelea in the first week of July 2021. We could not have found anywhere better. The hosts, Alan & Maroulla, were friendly and helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and the hot water is always very hot. Alan's "full English" is to die for together with endless tea and coffee. My mobility scooter battery needed charging every night and Alan willingly took responsibility with no cost to us. I would unhesitatingly recommend Homelea to anyone.

Maroulla and Alan took us in on a last minute booking we arrived dripping wet with our bikes that they very kindly stored in their garage. It was warm and comfortable. We would highly recommend it lotta of choice for breakfast too.

The great thing about Homelea is that it never changes! Having finished a walk in 2019 at Lowestoft and been so well looked after by Alan an Maroualla (apologies for spelling) we arrived back for the next stage and stayed again. We were so welcomed and so well looked after by them. The breakfast is a must...freshly cooked. Please visit...

Have recently returned from our third visit to Homelea and what a pleasure it was once again. Alan and Maroulla are perfect hosts and Alan's breakfasts are wonderful - good quality ingredients, always hot and perfectly cooked. We stayed in room 4, which is the first time we've had a front facing room, and it was lovely to sit by the window with a cuppa first thing in the morning and look out at the sea. We had glorious weather whilst we were there which was a bonus!! Looking forward already to our next stay there.

Needed accommodation with a central location for an evening out with friends.
The location of the Homelea is ideal with a walking distance of less than 10 minutes to the town centre.
Nice sea view from the comfortable and well maintained rooms.Sandy beach only a couple of minutes from the B & B.
Lovely friendly reception from our Hosts and a well cooked adequate breakfast provided in the morning.
We hope to stay again.

We've just returned from a lovely weekend in Lowestoft, staying at Homelea, while we visited family in Blundeston. The accomodation was really comfortable, warm, despite being cold outside and the breakfast was superb. Maroulla and Alan are great hosts and really lovely people, the only downside was having to leave.

Was a very friendly clean and excellent breakfast. Room was large and there was en-suite.
Excellent location by sea. Free parking too. It was a short walk to town centre which had all well known shops. Bingo Hall close by and a taxi to a very nice Indian Restaurant which used to be a Railway Station Waitng room
