Amanda and Tony are fantastic hosts. The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor and is beautifully decorated and clean. The breakfast is good, with cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast and full English. We even got breakfast delivered to our room one morning. Our room was on the ground floor (west facing) and is beautifully decorated. The en suite bathroom was slightly small, but perfectly designed with a modern suite and a surprisingly large shower cubicle. Hand wash, shampoo and towels provided. The garden area at the rear of the Guest House is beautifully designed with plenty of space to sit outside (astroturf grass and patio). The location was perfect, just cross the road and through the Hatch grounds to the seafront.

Had a lovely few days staying at this b n b, I agree with so many other reviewers that Tony and Amanda are excellent hosts, very attentive and friendly. I had a single room with a sea view which was comfortable and a reasonable size. The road outside can be a bit noisy late at night and early in the morning but that's a price to pay for being near the seafront I suppose. The location is very good with a good beach and pier right opposite and the main town only a 15 minute walk away. Breakfast is of good quality and quantity, served in pleasant surroundings. All in all this guest house is value for money and would definitely recommend.

For a year, I've been staying at the Coventry Guest House whilst attending the boatbuilding college in Lowestoft. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It's truly been a home away from home for me. The location is fabulous, right on the beach with great views of the North Sea and the amazing sunrises you get in Lowestoft. The Coventry itself is spotless and tastefully set out, and the breakfast has always been delicious. But the best part has been the lovely couple who run it. Tony and Amanda, thank you so much. I can't express how much I've enjoyed being a guest at the Coventry. I always felt like so much more than a guest! It's not just that if I'm back in Lowestoft, I know just where I will stay. No, it's more than that. I might come back to Lowestoft just so I can stay at the Coventry again! How many guest houses can you honestly say have been a top highlight of a visit to a place? Very few. But the Coventry is one of them. Quite simply, the Coventry is the best place I've ever stayed.

Our hosts Amanda and Tony were just super. We had a very comfortable stay. Sea 🌊 view was fantastic as was the weather ( last weekend September). Breakfast was great all that you needed, cereals, juices, yoghurt, full English with toast, very tasty ☕ coffee. The location was fantastic, no issues with parking which is free by the way. Once again a big thank you for our hosts who couldn't do more for you for a lovely long weekend. Rest assured we will be back ☺

Just got home from a very hot long journey from Lowestoft to Leigh, Greater Manchester, but totally worth it. Never been to Lowestoft before so booked through Booking.com as I'd read the reviews. We weren't disappointed in any way. Lovely guest house, great position right beside the promenade.
Room was spotless, tastefully decorated with everything needed.....and if we had needed anything, it would have been provided I'm sure.
The hosts were the best hosts we've experienced and we've stayed in many guest houses all over the country. The breakfasts were superb....every taste catered for.
Tony even carried heavy suitcase up the stairs and Amanda even made us a flask of coffee for our journey. NOTHING was too much trouble.
This couple deserve all the business available
Thanks so much, we will be back

What a gem! Such a lovely guest house. Impeccably decorated, very clean, homely & welcoming! Amanda & Tony, we're so friendly, chatty & informative on the local area. Our room had the most stunning sea view out of every angle of the large bay window. The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was very well done & tasty. Can't fault this B&B. Would definitely return another time.

Had a great bank holiday stay here. This guesthouse is in a beautiful location and so close to the beach. We were made to feel very welcome as the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The full English breakfast was lovely, wouldn’t hesitate to return.

This is weird. Either there are 2 Coventry Guest houses in Lowestoft or I missed something.
Everything was wong. Room had double bed but no room for anything else. I must've stubbed my toe a thousand times manoevering round it.
Armchair collapsed on the 3rd night. (I wegh a mere 12 stone).
Water pressure in the shower a trickle. No place in the shower to put your washing stuff.
Dining room has to be one of the most dismal places I've ever seen and yet I read how nice the dining room was.
I read talk of the wonderful garden. How did you get there?
The only upside of the enture experience was that the hosts were nice.
