Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed at Chris and Val’s wonderful BNB for the whole month of December 2019 whist I was working on a contract in Lowestoft. The room I stayed in was really nice with a very comfy double bed. The en-suite was really clean and had all the essentials with fresh towels and little toiletries. The breakfast was amazing with all different kinds of Full English breakfasts each morning cooked by Chris. The location was great only a 10 minute walk into town and they were happy for me to park my car on their drive. I enjoyed my stay very much and would highly recommend. Chris and Val the hosts were extremely friendly and informative and went above and beyond to make my stay extremely comfortable, couldn’t thank them enough and would definitely return if I’m in Lowestoft again.

Our overnight stay at Rosevale was delightful. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, plenty of wardrobe/drawer space and the most comfortable beds. Both rooms had tea/coffee facilities, even bottled water was provided, The ensuite bathrooms had plenty of space and came with every toilertery you could possibly need ! So much thought has gone into making your stay enjoyable, a real pleasure to stay at Rosevale.

Chris and Val are the most delightful couple and extremely helpful, their home is a real home from home experience, and a real pleasure to stay at Rosevale, wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was a real treat, lovely. Chris is an a excellent cook. If it ever stops raining, you will be able to sit and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea in their very pretty garden.

We would like to thank Chris and Val for their wonderful hospitality and wish them a very busy summer once Covid rules allow. If you need a place to stay Book Rosevale - you will not be disappointed.

Thanking you for your care and hospitality, Tim, Jackie & Jean

Lovely B & B.

Those little added touches of bottled water and tissues are really appreciated. The yummy breakfast kept us going until late afternoon. Chris thank you for catering to the dietary needs of a vegan and wheat intolerant guest.

Thank you Chris and Val. As mentioned if we come to Suffolk again in another 8 years time will be in touch.

Will recommend you to family and friends.

I just stayed one night at Rosevale but would definitely stay again. Lovely comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom had a good shower. All toiletries you would ever need are supplied. Lots of storage for clothes if you are staying longer it really is the hospitality of Chris and Val that makes Rosevale so special, nothing is too much trouble for them. I opted for a light breakfast as I had a late dinner but will definitely try the the full English next time.

What a wonderful place. We stayed here for one night on our way home to Derbyshire after visiting family in Essex.
Chris and Val are a welcoming couple and we instantly felt at home. Our room was excellent and a lot of work has gone into making sure guests want for nothing.
We would highly recommend Rosevale to anyone visiting the area.
I only wish we could have stayed another night, and we would have if my wife didn't have a dental appointment the next day!

We booked into Rosevale b & b for one night. We were met by Chris who welcomed us and he showed us to our room. The room was lovely and clean. There was shampoo, soap, toothpaste and spare razor provided. We were asked what time we would like breakfast and also what we wanted. We chose a full English which was delicious. Everything had been thought of. Chris and Val are a very nice couple who provide a warm welcome and a very good service.

I read other traveller reviews after I had booked and I was not disappointed!
From the moment I arrived, and I stayed for 7 nights, to the time I left I wanted for nothing and nothing was too much trouble.Chris and Val are lovely, genuine people who love to look after you.
Breakfast was perfection.
My bed was very comfortable and very clean room, with every conceivable necessity including toothpaste!
Cant fault it and would be extremely happy to stay with them again!
