We stopped over for one night when picking up our daughter from University and found this B&B within a few minutes from the Uni and Loughborough Centre. We got talking to the sister of the owner of the accommodation who informed us of the television program (Hotel Inspector) that had aired a few days before. All I can say is, don't believe everything you see on television!

First impression of the accommodation are bright colours and lots of lights, but everything looked and smelled clean.

After catching a film (walking distances to the town centre), my husband and I decided to have a meal in the restaurant on site and the food was absolutely amazing. We went on holiday to Thailand a few years ago and it was a throwback to what we had experienced out there. I definitely highly recommend their restaurant.

Rooms are basic and a bit bare, but we found the facilities to be very clean and reasonably priced for our stay(we paid £89 for 2 people, including breakfast). Beds were very comfortable and as our room was just a "base" for a night, we were happy with what was provided. Perhaps a bit can be done to make the room a bit more personable (pictures on the wall, some bedside lamps etc). but all in all we had a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was great. There was the standard selection of cereal, fruit, juices, milk, yoghurt, jam, toast etc. And a full English of course.

We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive.

Now, it's possible that a lot of the improvements and changes were made after the Hotel Inspector program aired, BUT ... I've not seen any articles from the program or Alex Polizzi mentioning the improvements that have been made and what it is like now to give credit to the staff and owners. Bearing in mind that we're talking about people's lives and livelihood here, it would be nice to give credit where it's due, not just focus on the negative to get airtime and rating figures!

All in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again. And even if you live locally and don't need to stay over, go and try their food - I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised!

This hotel cost us £50 for one night (Saturday Evening). We didn’t have high hopes for the place with it being so cheap, but we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived at around 9:30pm to a friendly welcome from the receptionist and were quickly shown to our room on the first floor. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I will say is the beds are quite small but they were really comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower. The shower was ok, not the best. I had a great nights sleep. For £50 I was happy. Breakfast was an additional £7 per person and had to be pre ordered on check in. We all had the full English and it was delicious. There was bread, crumpets, yoghurts and cereals to help yourself to. The staff were so friendly at this Hotel. It was just the three of us for breakfast in the front room and it was lovely, felt really personal. We stayed here as we had the steam train driving experience booked in Loughborough. If I ever needed somewhere to stay again in Loughborough I wouldn’t hesitate to book.

We stayed here as a birthday treat for the wife, the hotel is nice and the staff are excellent very attentive, helpful and friendly, the restaurant is authentic Thai cooked by authentic Thai chef's.
The breakfast was full English cooked very well I would definitely recommend the food, the only negative thing I have and this is the only reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 was, I found the hotel on booking.com for £41 but I upgraded to a superior room at £79 expecting a king size bed, but all I got was a queen size bed, the room was big enough for a bigger bed,
Apart from that it was a great venue everything under one roof.

I was staying with a friend for our grad ball so I knew we would be back late. So On the way out I asked how to get back in after 10pm and was told to ring the bell and someone would answer. I get back about 2 ish and ring the bell and no one shows up. We waited outside for around 30 mins before eventually giving up and searching the town for hotels with last minute rooms. Three attempts later and now closer to 4pm we found on and managed to sleep there. But because of this we paid for two rooms for one night because the staff couldn’t give us an honest answer. The worst part is there was a code lock on the door that if anyone had common sense we would’ve been told so we could enter without someone being there but no.
Anyway everything worked out fine but I’m £70 down due to this hotels mistake

Really was not sure what to expect with the mixed bag of reviews! Visited with my friend one afternoon for a massage, use of the facilities and a bite to eat. When we arrived we must admit from the outside we did think what had we let ourselves in for! Do not judge a book by the cover.... The maasgae was by far one of the best I have ever had and the staff are really friendly. We wanted to dine in the restautant, however the restaurant did not open until later, this was not an issue to Baz who was able to accommodate our needs, explaining the dishes and his personal recommendations. Delicious!

Highly recommend a visit!

First time collection of a Thai takeaway for two people. £33.40 for 2 starters, 2 main dishes and rice. Both the main dishes (jungle curry and chicken stir fry with ginger) were small portions of overcooked veg with very little meat or flavour and no spice at all. Egg fried rice was bland and resembled a packet microwaved product.

This is as far from authentic Thai food as you can get. Still hungry and feel ripped off.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Thai food. Can not fault it.
We’ve booked in for next Friday night as well. I think we’ve found our new go to place.
Thank you for a lovely lunch and a special start to the weekend.

Grotty! Having just spent 2 nights here, I can honestly say, the accommodation was terrible! So unclean, spa facilities included jacuzzi, which was out of order, steam room and sauna!! But the smell in these facilities was shocking! It smelt of sewage! But after walking around Loughborough, the smell is very distinctive in most areas!! Our bathroom was not clean. dust on top of the headboard, marks on the wall. Breakfast room… chair arms were filthy, cobwebs everywhere. Generally just not clean!! On a plus… breakfast is excellent! The lady was lovely and friendly. We booked upon arrival for a massage the following day, sat there waiting, until someone asked if we were booked in.. panic struck when said yes, as only 1 lady on, she had to phone for another to come in!! Apart from this, massage was also excellent. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, so cannot comment on that, only again upon arrival the man on reception told us “ she is a very good cook, but, does wander through, asking you why you have not eaten/finished your meal.

First time to Loughborough but good location close to town. Owners so welcoming made you feel like you were in your second home.
We were converted to try Thai food which was so good.
Unfortunately Jacuzzi was not working but will definitely go back to try and owner was so apologetic.
