This handsome red brick Victorian building, was built as the vicarage for Loughborough's Holy trinity Church in 1878 and over the last six months has been converted to a superior guest house offering rooms for all reasons.Holywell House as it is now known, is on the edge of the High Street and an 8 minute walk to the town center. Nearby Bradgate Park, Beacon Hill, Beaumanor Hall, Prestwold Hall, Everyman Race Track and Donington.Five minutes from Junction 23 of the M1, we are also within easy reach of East Midlands Airport and Midland Rail Network.Whatever your reason for visiting Loughborough make Holywell House your choice where to stay. Lovely stay, exceptional house with loads of antiques which I cannot imagine how long they take to clean as everything was gleaming. Well maintained exterior and very good car park. Easy to find. Very comfortable beds and everything we needed was in our room. Hosts were very friendly, wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy their hospitality. Although very busy in the morning our host was so calm, very professional but friendly too. Final point, I am allergic to dogs and they do have one, but there was no smell or any indication it had been allowed in the dining room or our room which was downstairs, so don't let that put you off, we would readily stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a fabulous B&B we stayed in room 3 room was very spacious very large ensuite with a jacuzzi bath rooms were extremely clean and well-equipped with television tea and coffee making facility even electric fan, nice size bed lovely linen and really soft pillows the room was even refreshed the following day with clean towels topped up complementary toiletries and even went as far as remaking the bed.breakfast very very nice arrived quickly after being ordered and was lovely and hot with a very professional service from Derek, breakfast was prepared by Les as I have already said absolutely wonderful, both Les and Derek go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable nothing was too much trouble for them they even let us use their kitchen to eat our fish and chips that we bought round the corner recommended by Les and yes the fish is the size of a whale aha. I would highly recommend this B&B it has that little touch of luxury we will certainly be visiting next year so once again thank you Les and Derek for a lovely and enjoyable stay.…

What a fab house!!! very spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice served in a beautiful dining room. You couldn’t ask for a better location walking distance to everything. The reason for our visit was the Great Central Railway which is a few minutes walk from Holywell House. Lez and Derek were lovely, very welcoming, polite and interesting to talk to. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning here and highly recommend it 😀

Lez & Derek run a beautiful most welcoming house. The furnishings all very thoughtfully installed. The twinroom was spacious and the ensuite very roomy. Loved the nautical theme. Breakfast was fantastic in a beautiful dining room. Would definitely stay again.

Despite a rather late arrival we were warmly welcomed. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. En suite bathroom was also large and had everything we needed. Breakfast was served in the quirky but wonderful dining room. There was a great choice and requests for changes were met without problem. Lots of car parking available. We were recommended to stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We could not have had a better experience than our stay at Holywell Guest House! Lez and Derek were warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, informative, humorous, thoughtful and gracious! When we arrived, Lez greeted us at the door before we even knocked and helped us with our bags. When we were around, he entertained us with many funny stories. Derek greeted us at breakfast every morning at the artfully decorated, elegantly set dining table with white gloves, a tuxedo suit, coffee or tea, and a smile. The breakfast menu was printed with several options and the breakfast was beautifully presented as well as delicious! The location was perfect - we walked nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms were spacious, bright and spotless and each room had its own bathroom. We enjoyed hanging out in the sizable backyard and taking in the sunshine while we chatted and chowed. Lez and Derek obviously love hosting and pay impeccable attention to details. They made us feel like family and we are so grateful to them! We can't wait to go back to the Holywell House! We only wish we could give them more than 5 stars!**********…

This B&B was recommended to us and what a gem of a place. Hubby and I would definitely come again we had a lovely welcome from our hosts Lez and Derek beautifully maintained and spotless B&B. Breakfast was excellent. Shops are 2 minutes away the main shopping area 6 minute walk away and a 7 minute walk to the great central railway which was our reason for coming.

Very pleasant stay, helpful and friendly owners, nice room, comfortable bed. The place is quirky but not overly chintz, the owners have kept to a period style. Breakfast was good, choice of full English breakfast or several other options including kipper which is unusual. Good parking area. Most important tea and coffee in the room. Although our room was in the front of the building there was no noise and we had a good night's sleep. Close to the heritage railway station and Bell foundry, which was unfortunately closed
