I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are welcoming and the rooms are consistently well-furnished, clean and comfortable. Breakfast has great choices and excellent quality. The dinner chef is brilliant. He accommodated my food allergies with excellent alternatives to the printed menu. Thank you to all at the hotel for making my stay amazing.
I stayed at Burleigh court last week for a conference and the staff made everything very smooth and easy. Everyone that I spoke to was very polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Well done to the management too for making your staff feel valued and important.
Myself and my husband stayed here for a business trip and it was lovely. Nice and clean, rooms fine and the maid did a great job plus the pool and newly refurbished Suna, steam room and shower was great after a day doing an intense course. The food was nice but the breakfast was amazing! One member of staff in particular (Avita) was incredible, they all were, but Avita knew that I am celiac and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and well fed! She was so lovely and it was a pleasure talking with her! :) The only reason the review is a 4 is that the young girl on reception could just do with a little more training but this is not her fault. We weren't told where anything was so left to float around to find ourselves and check in took a while etc and first impressions count so this could maybe just do with a little work but all in all we had a lovely stay here and would defiantly return if we were on business in this area again and defiantly recommend.…
4 friends and I have arranged a spa package break for the coming weekend. Received a call to say that we could use the spa and accommodation as planned but they are unable to offer the treatments due to staff illness. Spoke to rather a rude receptionist at the spa called Lucy who said we could rebook ( it is very difficult to arrange a time for us all to be together due to work/family commitments) but this is the weekend all of us could attend. Rudely stated that we could still have the package but wouldn’t be making any reductions for loss of treatments- no point really as that was part of the attraction. We could have the overnight rate but that didn’t include food so worked out very expensive for a stay in Loughborough. Very unwelcoming response from this receptionist and clearly preferred us not to visit! Will not rebook there again. The treatments we had booked were at random times over Friday and Saturday as couldn’t arrange us to be together due to staff unavailability although this was booked a month ago. We had accepted that, disappointedly as we were all getting treatments at times ranging from 3pm Friday until 12:45 Saturday! I recommend they don’t offer a spa package if they are unwilling to employ enough staff to provide the service.…
I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was a choice of pillows, the breakfast was amongst the best I had seen anywhere in the world with avocado and smoked salmon amongst the extensive choices. Wasn't sure if you could request anything special as I would have liked poached eggs and possibly a greater choice of bread, but honestly it was awesome. The pool and gym were nice if slightly small and the bed was a little bit hard if i was being uber critical, I would definitely stay again and recommend to lone lady business travellers.
