Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very well-run hotel that offers a nice array of amenities. As an example, the Internet was amazingly fast, allowing me to get quite a lot of work done, and the desk in the room was large and well-situated with ample plugs and lighting. The spacious rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable large beds and nice pillows. And the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Of special note were Sherilyn at the front desk, and William, Russell, and Lucy in the bar/restaurant area. The food is good and plentiful, too. I travel the UK quite a lot, and it's always nice to find a hotel that allows you to stretch out, relax, and get some work done. That's precisely what this hotel offers.

Overall it’s a lovely hotel. We ate in the bar, which wasn’t too overpriced. Didn’t have breakfast as we found a lovely cafe a few minutes drive for a fraction of the price. Had a swim, steam, and sauna. The jacuzzi could be warmer as others have pointed out, but it’s attached to the main pool so I guess its just a design fault! However, I totally agree with many reviews on here regarding the beds. They are advertised as pillow top, but putting a pillow onto a slab of concrete doesn’t make it better! They are the hardest beds I have ever tried to sleep on. That is the reason for dropping 2 stars, (thought about dropping 3!) after all, the main purpose of going to a hotel is to sleep the night!

Not heated in the restaurant. I was a bit cold. I unfortunately hadn't any chance to visit fitness room, but in terms of accommodation everything was perfect - cosy room, fantastic dinner and breakfest, parking area big enough.

Went for my husbands works do and the experience was great from start to finish. The food however the starter I was given wrong, a lady called leah was fantastic she went and got me something I did like as was no bother for her. Even at the bar when she changed over the pleasant smile while serving. Please give this lady a special thankyou as she was none stop a credit to you. The room we had ground floor was lovely, I especially liked the pillows, even the shower was a life saver from a night out 🤣

Visited Burleigh Court for a retirement party and could not fault it! Fabulous venue with lovely staff (Think it was Sharon and Karen who looked after us very well) and the food was absolutely amazing! Delicious Turkish style buffet and scrummy brownies. Would definitely visit again

The building isn't really new as well as the room fornitures, but they are kept in good condition. There's any services you can think of, there's everything you may need. What I really loved was the lounge where you can have a coffee, a snack or a soft drink at any time (and for free), while relaxing on the couches. The staff is very kind and efficient. I had an issue with the room when we arrived and they managed to move me to another room very quickly. Very satified, I recommend it.

Very nice and clean hotel...rooms were of a high standard. The bar was good. The only food we had was breakfast which was of a very high standard. The Spa was nice although it was full of a Rugby team whilst we were there...but they were very respectful. My only complaint was that the rooms could do with a bit of sound proofing....We could hear someone coughing all night in the next room. Right on campus and perfect for a uni visit

We checked in 20th November after a long flight. We were early but thankfully we were able to use our room straight away (3 hours before normal check in). The lady at the desk was lovely. The room was clean & facilities were very good (powerful shower with attractive smelling products), great lighting options, good hair drier & soft towels. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel were all tasty with a varied menu and great service (special mention for Lesley who was friendly and attentive.) Booking the hotel was straightforward & I appreciated online check-out for convenience.
