Came here for a late lunch with family and loved it. The food was amazing and it was nice and quite as it was a Monday. Looooved the food and would definitely come back. It would be such a nice visit in summer!

Our party of 4 visited the Hunting Lodge today for Sunday lunch. Fairly busy when we arrived. Starter, main meal and dessert were very nice, but getting served leaves a lot to be desired. Hunting Lodge is good food, but shape up on service.

Visited here for a family meal I must say what a treat. Very welcoming friendly staff with prompt service. Had three course meal which was delightful. Menu is fantastic with lots of choices and great value for money cannot wait to return in the new year.

This was our second visit and again a very underwhelming experience. The service was slow and when the food arrived was disappointed. The standard of the food was very poor. One had lasagna which looked as if it had just been reheated which dried it out and was quite tasteless. Another had roast beef dinner which looked as if it...

Very easy to find on the main road. Plenty of parking. Inside is mostly wooden panelling taking you back in time. It is very smart and looks really classy. It looks really clean. I went along with a group of 11. We were booked in for 1pm. I was surprised how empty the bar and eating area were. The tables...

We had a good meal here last night. No complaints re starter, main course or dessert. Service friendly and prompt. Wine good. I had the steak and sauce. Steak tender and peppercorn sauce had plenty of kick! Nothing exotic but a good selection of homely choices.

Slow service, microwave food, disgusting! I only ate, well looked at what was passed as food. I have eaten out all over the world and can guarantee this ranks as the poorest ever! I did not stay in the hotel, but to be fair friends stayed and had breakfast and said it was OK.

This is a lovely old Victorian building that has obviously undergone refurbishment over the years but it is an atmosphere free zone with terrible colourless lighting and basically brown everything. A group of us went for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The bizarre scenario was presented to us that unless everyone had the fixed menu then that sensibly priced option...
