We stayed three nights at Williamwood cottage. The cottage is so well appointed and the decor is perfect. It was so inviting, we cut short our sightseeing each day to spend time on the farm. The walks were glorious and Michael was the perfect host. A perfect gentleman and a delight to be with. Thank you for a truly serene...

Thank you so much to Michael and Shirley for such a memorable stay with our family. Such a welcoming couple who have so much to offer of you are interested in working farms and conservation. The kids learnt such a lot. And had a great time too. Williamwood cottage was everything we could have hoped for and then some. Beautifully...

Williamwood Cottage is a nice cottage. Very secluded with lots of outdoor space. Nicely decorated inside and a lovely log fire. However, overall we were rather disappointed. We expected a lot more to do on sight with a toddler, being on a working farm. The cleanliness inside was generally OK but there is some work to do on some areas...

Stayed at Williamwood Farm Cottages recently when in Scotland for a family wedding. Cottages were very well appointed, maintained and very clean. Nice gesture leaving fresh farm eggs in cottage on arrival. The owners very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

A last minute family break to Grey Craig Cottage, part of Williamwood country cottages. This is our second visit to the farm and as always Michael and Shirley were very hospitable and welcoming. The cottage is very clean and tidy with the added bonus of a large fenced off garden, it meets all the needs for a family of 4....

We have just returned from a 4 night break at Williamwood Farm, where we stayed in Grey Craig cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything that we needed and more besides. The wood burner was a lovely treat although the cottage was lovely and warm without it. We enjoyed the gorgeous walks around the farm and meeting all the...

We spent the full week over Christmas at the Dairy Cottage & it was absolutely fantastic. The cottage itself was a beautiful blend between traditional & modern living & made a very comfortable & enjoyable retreat indeed. Shirley & Michael had decorated the cottage for Christmas for us & were always happy to show us around the farm & let...

Whilst searching the web for a special Chrismas pressie for my husband who adores Highland cows, I came across Williamwood. It looked great and was within reasonable travelling distance from our home so I booked to stay for 3 nights in Beckhead Cottage. I knew there would be Highland moos but didn't realise just how many other animals we would...

We have just returned from our third visit to Williamwood, this time staying in Beckhead Cottage & gets better each time we visit. Beautiful cottages in beautiful surroundings & so peaceful yet a short walk along the drive & you're in the heart of farm life which you're welcomed to take part in. Michael & Shirley are lovely hosts &...

We spent a week in the Dairy Cottage which is attached to the main farm house. It is a lovely cottage with a very homely feel. This cottage is the perfect location for exploring the farm. Shirley and Michael really made us feel at home and took a lot of time out of their busy schedules to talk to us...
