Revolting, dirty, small, disgusting rooms in a hole of a hotel. Don't stay here, it's horrible. Went to a wedding at the Belle Epoch next door, stayed here for convenience. If your thinking of doing the same, don't. Stay at the travelodge and get a cab.

Rooms very run down and in need of a good clean window wouldn't stay open a definite fire hazzard. Carpet very dirty and stained windows black with mould and dust and walls could do with a lick of paint . Windows not double glazed so very noisy being directly under the flight path .Breakfast was of poor quality I think... More

Stayed here last week whilst working in Manchester. Room was small but cosy and the bed very comfortable. The shower on the other hand just dribbled out and it took a long while to get the shampoo from my hair!! The other bad thing about this room (room 9) was the chiller unit placed right outside which was droneing all... More

A very cosy central place to stay. Good gin selection, especially the Macclesfield Forest gin. Good breakfast selection, I recommend the scrambled eggs on toast. Rooms at the front are best, all en suite!

Stayed here for a few nights recently and loved its central position in Knutsford and its proximity to the major cities like Chester and Manchester. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However the rooms need major improvement in terms of decor, comfort and facilities. Doors hanging off hinges, poor finish in bathrooms and an appalling shower. A hearty... More

Good location cumfy bed , breakfast was the worst we have ever had. Cold no idea at all. , disgrace , would have been better if they had spoke English , room was ok but dirty and needs updating . Disappointed in the whole experience , they asked for payment as soon as we checked in. I can see why... More

Room was quite nice but meals and drinks were very expensive compared with what we are used to. We spent the previous night at the Cross Keys, two doors down the road, but the accommodation was very shoddy so we moved. We were attending a wedding at the Belle ^Epoque next door, which is a lovely venue, but again very... More

Booked this for an overnight stop on the way to the Lakes, having previously eaten at the excellent Belle Époque next door. Arrived 5.30pm on a Sunday, and booked a table for dinner at 7pm. Half an hour later staff told us the kitchen was closed and they were very sorry, and offered a bottle of wine. We said we... More

The bedroom was stylish and modern. However, it was quite stuffy/hot and location seemed to be under the flight path. Breakfast certainly not the best and was disappointing. Staff seemed friendly although rather disorganised and things didn't seem to work as they should.

First impression on arrival was 'Good'. However this did not last. Although our room was clean and tidy when we returned from the Tatton Garden Show, the bed had not been made. Breakfast on day one was basic, but acceptable, on day two , although we were the first guests down, the food was cold , tea and coffee tepid!!... More
