A home from home. Spacious well maintained, clean and everything provided. Well connected for getting around Orkney, with lovely views of the harbour. Quiet property but close to amenities. Really comfortable bed and nice linen.

The accommodation was of very good quality. The bathroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The lounge/kitchen was bright and well equipped. It was a very quiet place to stay and a short walk into Kirkwall. It was lovely that the hosts offer to pick you up from the ferry/airport - which makes it very easy. Lots of information, maps and timetables were left for our convenience. A great base to explore the island.

We had a relaxing week on Sanday and it was lovely to come home to Quivals each day after exploring the island. The property had everything we needed and more. We loved sitting in the sunroom in the evening looking out over Otterswick Bay.

The place is nice and comfortable with good condition. But there was no 4G / 3G signals inside the house, meaning that you have to get out to the street to make a call (though internet calls could be possible). We provided the feed back to the property management people for follow up during our visit.

A thoroughly comfortable and excellent apartment was The Courtyard. A quiet location but convenient for Kirkwall. All you need for a memorable stay on Orkney. An easy 15 minute walk into Town or a 3 minute drive to the ferry to visit other islands.
