Bellavista was such a lovely place to stay for my trip to Orkney. Patsy was so friendly and helpful. The room was well set up but the best part of my stay was the breakfast. Patsys husband made some local Orkney soft cheese for my breakfast on the second morning and it was delicious. I think the only issue may...

After two months all around Scotland and in London, the first place I stayed at, Bella Vista in Kirkwall, Orkney remained the best all-around. Great hospitality, excellent breakfasts, very wide choice, world's best porridge, homemade cheeses, chutneys and jams. Patsy goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable, and is a computer whiz as well. Easy walking,...

Stayed for 4 nights with family, based on previous reviews. No hesitation in staying here again, or recommending. Excellent breakfast with plenty of options including dietary requirements. Rooms well catered and spotless. Thanks Patsy for a very enjoyable stay.

Bellavista surpassed our expectations. A warm welcome, a lovely comfortable and sparkling clean room, to the sumptuous breakfast, (with homemade jam) this is the perfect bed and breakfast. The location is good, just a short drive from Kirkwall and a great base for exploring amazing Orkney.

Wonderful location. We spent two evenings. Breakfasts were incredible including homemade jams. I was especially impressed with the gluten and dairy free options, delightfully surprised! Patsy made you feel right at home and went out of her way for us even with an early leave on our second morning with ready to go breakfasts. Thank-you so much for the lovely...

I stayed here while on business in Orkney. I had a lovely clean room with all facilities. What I really liked was that you could choose a range of breakfast options with a range of prices including making your own breakfast for people who had to leave early. I had the continental option which was great as I don't usually...

I booked the last free room on a last-minute basis (my previous Kirkwall accommodation was not working out), and I was so lucky that a room was free! The room was a great value for the price -- clean, warm, enough space, free parking, and a great breakfast. Patsy was wonderful and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at Bellavista. Highly recommend Patsy's handmade jams and Alan's incredible cooked and Orkney cold breakfasts - delicious, very generous and special. The room and facilities are immaculate, well decorated, organised and have everything you need. There is even a very handy kitchenette, laundry area and shed for bikes! We had such a great time in Orkney and...
