Nicely located B&B within a few minutes walk of the centre of Lerwick. The room was quiet and spacious, and the walk in shower in the shared bathroom was good (a separate bath with handheld shower was also available) Unfortunately, whilst there were no smoking signs prominently displayed in the bedroom and elsewhere, there was at times an almost overwhelming aroma of cigarette smoke (from an unknown source) in the hallway outside our room, and to an extent on the ground floor of the B&B which marred the visit. On a final more positive note, there were many options to choose from at breakfast (which could be substantial) which my husband particularly enjoyed.

For over a year I had planned to travel to Shetland and in October I finally got the chance. All the time I emailed with Sandra, the owner of theB&B. She welcomed me with the biggest smile and we connected over coffee and giggling. What a lady! She did everything for me. The room didn’t miss a thing. She put special treats in the room that she found out I liked. It was spotless clean and even the toilet paper was soft. I am not a big eater, but she tried everything to get me eat. She put all kind of food on the table. We had conversations about nothing and everything! Great place and a beautiful and heartwarm owner! Best place ever!

Stayed here for one night when we arrived in Lerwick. The room was lovely and the lady who ran the b&b was very helpful. We talked a lot about food and how we both liked too much butter. In the morning she served the best breakfast ever. I would definitely come back for that again, especially for the bacon.

We could not ask for a more comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Our room was lovely - spacious, spotless, quiet, warm, fluffy towels and wonderful bathrobes. Was wonderful to have the microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Thanks for the delicious biscuits, Sandra, a nice touch. The breakfasts were amazing - so much choice and dietary requirements catered for. Sandra was always on hand for anything we needed and once again made our third stay in Shetland perfect. Woosung is a home from home place and Sandra is a top host.

Large and comfortable room with everything you could possible need. Pristine white bed linen, towels changed daily, fridge with fresh milk daily, snacks, microwave etc. Large bathroom with walk-in shower and bath. You couldn't wish for anything more and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb and plenty of it. I started with the fresh fruit salad every morning and I'm missing it now I'm home. I'm keeping the best 'til last - Sandra. What a wonderful person. She made our holiday. She's the kindest most caring and helpful person I've come across. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she really cares for all her visitors and does everything possible to make sure they enjoy her wonderful island. She has so much local knowledge that it's great to listen to her stories. Thank you Sandra for giving us such a wonderful time.

Visited on a walking holiday and so glad I stayed here. Sandra has thought of everything. There are the usual kettle and tea but also a microwave, fridge, plates, knives and folks and even a bottle opener ! Fresh flowers, spotlessly clean and 10 minute walk if that to town. Sandra is the best host ever. Met me from the bus stop. Was ready to do breakfast at any time. Even offered to pick me up if I missed any busses. Only thing she couldn't do was fog bound my flight back so I would have to stay longer ! Will definitely be back and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I last stayed here many years ago on business so when returning to Shetland with my wife on holiday I was hoping to stay here again and was lucky enough that Sandra had space for us. This is an amazing b&b... have stayed in many but none compare to this one. The service Sandra gives is second to none and the location is perfect for anyone visiting the Shetland Islands as it is very central and close to transport links to explore these stunning islands. Not just anything you could expect from a bed and breakfast but anything we seemed to want or need seemed to be available and more. The rooms are spotless and the breakfasts are superb! My wife said she didnt want to go home... Thank you so much Sandra for making our trip! xx

What a fantastic place to stay! We stayed 12 nights at Woosung B&B during Wool Week in September. This accommodation was one of the main reasons I enjoyed my visit to Shetland so much. Every day, coming back to our digs was like coming home. Everywhere was ultra clean plus our room had absolutely everything a traveller could possibly need, even down to a sewing kit! Then there was breakfast! We could have anything we wanted and more! Fresh, delicious food of the highest quality. As if this wasn't enough, Sandra, in her generosity drove us to places in the rain, and drove me, especially, far and wide. No wonder I'm itching to get back to Shetland, and when I do, I'll be making a bee-line for Woosung!

Sandra was a caring, thoughtful and compassionate host. My mom and I stayed for 12 nights during Shetland Wool Week in September 2017, and each time we came back to our room it was like returning to our own sanctuary. There was not only a spotlessly clean room, but tea and fresh snacks waiting for us daily. Sandra was a very knowledgeable hostess, and anything we had questions about she had the answers. She not only had answers, but she offered drives to different venues and made us feel like we were a part of her home. Breakfast was served daily with fresh local products, and a wide choice of items that she would cook to our specific desires. Woo Sung B&B was in a perfect location, and within close walking distance to buses, and many choices of restaurants, museums and shopping. Sandra was the best thing about Woo Sung, from her friendly smiling face to her caring attitude. There was nothing that I could point out as something that I liked least. I will definitely be going back to Lerwick, and would love to stay at Woo Sung again.

This B&B is excellent! This was our second stay here (the first in 2013). Once again, great hospitality from Sandra, who took care of all our needs. Breakfasts are fantastic - so much variety & delicious freshly-cooked breakfasts. Quiet location, in the town centre - perfect. We hired a car & Sandra supplied a child's car seat, free of charge - what a host. Thanks again - see you next time, Sandra.
