A small B&B a little out of Lerwick's "city" centre but within easy walking distance. A wonderful warm welcome, impeccably clean (shared bathroom facilities for me), all mod coms available plus some. Higly recommended

Woosung is a perfect place to stay. The rooms are very good equiped and spacious , the breakfast is perfect and Sandra makes you feel very welcome. I went to Lerwick for Up Heely Aa and she even managed to get me a ticket for a hall. A place to return to!

I booked at short notice, visiting for a funeral, and Sandra could not have been more helpful. I enjoyed a first floor twin room for single occupancy and it was excellently equipped, even down to a fridge and foldaway table for a TV supper. The shower room was similarly well equipped - the one point to note is that you have to be fit to negotiate the half flight of stairs down to reach it. But the biggest bonus was Sandra herself - she thinks of everything for her guests' comfort.

I have not stopped raving about this B&B since I returned home. Woosung was fantastic. My room was lovely; warm and cosy. It had everything you could require for your stay...TV, lovely towels, robes, microwave, plates, cutlery, fridge, lots of tea and coffee, snacks, adpters, toiletries,... just to name a few. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was so yummy. There was a choice of cerals, yogurts and fruit salad plus numerous choices for the hot component. The salmon with scrambled eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes was to die for. Sandra is an excellent hostess and an interesting person to talk with. Her desire to make her guests happy is evident in her actions. She offered to dry any wet clothes I may have had after sea kayaking, allowed me to keep my room until late in the…

Woosung is a gem of a B&B very convenient to the center of Lerwick, on a quiet parallel street just up the hill from the major sights. The rooms are spacious, and include a mini-fridge and microwave so that you can buy and prepare your own food if you like! Sandra does fantastic breakfasts, and is always willing to accommodate special requests. I stayed three nights, and although I know I wasn't the only one staying there, felt like I had Sandra's full attention at all times. I loved our morning chats during breakfast! This B&B is an excellent value!

I had stay at Lerwick several times, and for me be at Woosung is like be at home. The conversations with Sandra, the excelent breakfast, clean rooms and the location, just on the top of the hill, five minutes walking from the town centre. Yes I will back.

Excellent! Whatever you may possibly need, Sandra has probably already thought about it and you can find it in your room before even asking for it! A fridge, a microwave, tea, coffee, cookies, fresh milk, plates and cutlery, towels (even a bathrobe) and more. In case you are really in need of something special - just ask and you will get it. Rooms are cleaned everyday like in hotels. The shared bathroom was no problem at all, and the way it was equipped reminded me of the best hotels I've seen. Our flight to Shetlands was delayed 24h - Sandra not only helped us on the way here by Very tasty breakfasts - everyone will find something he likes here. We didn't try other meals, so can't tell about those, but I'd expect them to be high standard as well. keeping us informed about…

On arrival Sandra made us very welcome hot cuppa and biscuits. Room was real home from home, everything you need and more. Tea coffee milk and juice in room. Microwave, fridge, tv, kettle, hairdryer and iron in room. There was a basket with first aid kit sewing kit face wipes shower gel and soaps if you forget your own. The breakfast Sandra served was to die for, didn't need to eat again till evening . I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again and would recommend the Woosung to anyone traveling to Shetland !

Rented a twin room for the weekend. Did not have an ensuite but shower and toilet only a few steps away. Sandra was helpful from start to finish: answered questions promptly through email and provided directions. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast and even better conversation. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

We stayed here during our 2 week trip to Shetland and could not have been more comfortable or well looked after. The room was spacious, very clean & well serviced throughout our stay. We were provided with a travel cot in our room and also a high chair at the breakfast table for our 8 month old baby. Sandra, the proprietor, had good knowledge of places we wanted to go to and things to see all over Shetland. This B&B is in central Lerwick, so was very easy for us to access all town amenities. We really enjoyed staying at this B&B - definitely an excellent one, we have rated it higher than any others we have stayed in & recommend to any visitors to Shetland. Thank you, Sandra.
