Glen Orchy Guest House

Traveller (21)
Room & Suite (4)

The Glen Orchy is a converted Edwardian Convent located two minutes walk from Lerwick city centre. We are situated in a quiet neighbourhood with views which overlook the town and both Lerwick and Breiwick Bays, across the street from us is a golf course along the coast which also boasts great walking routes. We are family owned and operated with a few specially selected staff. We do our very best to make our guests feel welcomed and valued, we want everyone to have a pleasant stay and leave with good memories. We try to make the extra effort for our guests because we know they have come great distances to stay with us.

My wife and I decided to visit Shetland for the first time recently. Accommodation was at a premium, however we were able to get 4 days at the Glen Orchy Guest House, booked via Hotels.com. My first comment is that this is currently not a Hotel as there is no evening meal or Bar

Glen Orchy House is a nice and charming guest house. My room was a bit worn out - specially the bath room. Still, Glen Orchy House has a lot of qualities. It was quiet, the staff was very friendly and my breakfast was very good.
