Nestled in a serene location close to the beach, Sinah Warren Hotel delights many guests with its beautiful setting. While the hotel's atmosphere and rooms receive mixed feedback, with calls for updates in decor and varying room standards, the staff's friendly and efficient service often stands out. However, some visitors have mentioned the entertainment can be too loud and lacks variety.
Cleanliness is a strong point, though guests have noted the prices for food and drinks as steep, affecting the overall value perception. Despite this, the amenities, including a range of activities and entertainment, are frequently commended.

Detailed Reviews
Just returned (14 August) from a four-night stay at this comfortable hotel, a little apprehensive bearing in mind that it had only been open for a few days. We were impressed by the attitude and diligence of the staff, particularly when it came to cleaning and them wearing masks all of the time. We were required to wear masks in public areas apart from the dining room and outside, which was reassuring.
It was a pity that some of the visitors, particularly elderly ladies, failed to wear masks indoors, yet they are those at risk! Perhaps the management should put up signs in the passageways reminding them that this virus hasn't gone away and masks are required for the protection of everyone!
Having table service in the dining room was a welcome change from queuing at the buffet. The food was excellent and well presented also the menu varied. The breakfast was outstanding; fresh fruit with yoghurt, followed by full English, toast, marmalade, endless coffee; no wonder I put on 2 kg in 4 days!
The entertainment was outside in a temporary stage as even at 21:00 hrs it was 26+, much nicer than 34 at noon! As usual the quality of entertainment was well up to Warner's high standard including a very funny comedian. His 'tongue twister' joke/routine was amazing!
This hotel is in a very quiet location with lovely expansive views across the Solent and is a great base from which to explore the South Downs National Park also Chichester. We shall definitely go again despite the lack of a/c in the Bedrooms.

I have returned today having stayed at Sinah within a group of 10 for a 3 night break.
The hotel was clean, the food of a good quality and the staff extremely pleasant and hard working. The weather was atrocious for one whole day of the break and most guests stayed inside but we were accommodated very well, there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied. We particularly liked the choice of the noon time movies.
I will mention the poor state of the leisure changing rooms and the indoor pool, however I heard someone mention that it soon to be refurbished, not a moment too soon.
We had an excellent rifle shooting session with Steph, she was very thorough and was very patient with those of us that were first timers.
Mercedes, our restaurant waitress was so hardworking too. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. It was lovely having the option of food choices being brought to the table with the added option of buffet choices too.
The ground floor, standard room we stayed in was very warm, the bed was comfy with a light duvet, the pillows seemed rather hard though. The shower was of a good size, really good lighting in both the bathroom and bedroom, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be an improvement in my opinion.
The safe was easy to operate, the cooler was quiet, plenty of hangers, mirrors and drawers. The maid replenished the tea/coffee making ingredients and biscuits daily.
The room was mostly quiet, very little noise from adjoining rooms apart from the creaking floors from the rooms above and inconsiderate guests returning to their rooms at night.
All in all it was a good break with quite a good choice of selected drinks from 6pm to midnight on this drinks inclusive package.

Thank you so much for posting such a useful review which I know many long-standing and hopefully new guests will find very helpful. As with all reviews, I will share this with the Sinah Team and I know Steph and Mercedes will be delighted that you have mentioned them. Apologies for the weather – and I agree it was dreadful on Sunday but I am pleased that you took advantage of our indoor activities. Hope you and your group of 10 will come back and stay with us again. Many thanks again for your time. Best Wishes, Jacqui

This was our first visit to a Warner hotel and certainly will not be our last!
We booked after having our overseas holiday cancelled this year due to COVID. Warner appealed too us because it is adult only and offers entertainment.
We booked a Royale room and this was fantastic. We had a beautiful room with a patio and fantastic sea views. The room was spacious with a very large bed and equipped with a fridge, snacks, large bath and separate shower, iron, ironing board and a lovely seating area with tv.
The staff here are fantastic. They work so hard and are always polite and friendly.
We watched the evening entertainment each night on our 4 night stay and found this to be very good too.
We enjoyed the dinning experience and understood that some restrictions and routines have had to be adopted due to the current situation, this enhanced our stay as we enjoy being served at our table. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner and service was always prompt, and again very friendly hard working staff.
We used the outside pool a few times as we were lucky with the weather and this is an added attraction to this particular location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it to be very relaxing. We look forward to booking our next trip.

Had a 7 night break first guests after lockdown been here last 10 years restaurant food was repeated Thursday and Friday evenings had to send burger back had soup 7 nights running as did not like limited other choices spoke with food and beverage manager other restaurant staff and made it clear food was spicy and not enough choice dishes I choose only can with roast potato’s ranging from 5 some nights to2 on others so COVID seems to attack overweight people so they say so why is head office producing menus with plated meals with roast potatoes only were was the mash or whole potatoes . There was mash potatoes on certain meals then no roasts . Meals were Luke warm and also breakfasts with no teapots at breakfast with a teabag on a saucer and a thermos flask were water had gone off the boil but if you had tea from the coffee shop a teapot was given then .there was no croissants at breakfast pancakes that seemed had been pre cooked and left warming so was rubbery so many cut backs in restaurant only 1 marmalade portion on each table but prices still the same and we booked this break in July 2019 twelve months ahead . We have filled in feed back and e mailed head office 3 times and head office have not bothered to respond we take around 5 warner breaks a year and bring other people with us as small booking come on Warner’s shame on you

Booked a very last minute midday at Sinah Warren arrived just before 8pm and finally found reception , Car park nightmare god knows what its like when full ,But of a trek to room but wow, Room was great large queen bed and walk in shower , very clean , Was told when booking that Masks were to be worn in all communal areas , alot of people either didnt care or couldnt be bothered to wear their masks , i get that some people cannot wear masks for health reasons but i cannot believe all those who i was seeing over my 4 days at Sinah had such problems .. such a shame , staff all wore them and worked so hard to make it enjoyable surely out of respect for the staff and other guests if you can then you should wear a mask . The staff were all fantastic friendly, bubbly Theresa was lovely on first night nothing to much trouble , Miles a lovely young man , Alice, Cristina and not forgetting Bryony who spent a good 15 minutes talking to us on our last nite wonderful young lady and we hope ur manager didnt moan at you for talking to us for so long . Our dinning times were allocated to us due to late booking evening meal time great but breakfast too early so only ate breakfast once and to be honest there wasnt really enough choice , dinner was ok but again there wasnt much choice the starters could do with say melon or prawn cocktail ? I understand that due to covid things are very different and we all have to learn to adapt . Service was quite quick and staff always had a smile even under these strange times . The entertainment was First class we loved Freddie Mercury , Madonna , Simply re-red Phil Collins all tribute acts but wow made me dance my socks off .. round my table haha no dance floor due to covid but still had us on our feet . Would i go again ... yes was a fab weekend took me back to my teenage years .

I really enjoyed our stay. But oh, the price! This is not good value at all. The room is like a Travelodge room. It’s fine, but not worth over £250 a night B&B. It was a shock to find what we’d bought. So the review points are based on what this price can buy in other hotels.
The breakfast is okay, if you like your coffee to be doled out in very small cups, when you can catch a waiter, and it’s standard mass catering coffee from a thermos.
The juice is available in a tiny glass. So you constantly have to ask, if you’d like a decent amount.
We wanted to use the outdoor pool. But it was shut because it was raining. Also, it’s divided into three segments so you can’t actually swim easily. Indoor pool had to be booked so we missed that.
We could hear our neighbours walking above us, and their tv.
Staff are all exceptionally kind and friendly. They really are an asset.
And the location is great.I would go back in a shot, if the price was commensurate with what is offered.

31st aug- 4th sept Our first ever warner’s break.
We were so impressed with the incredibly hard working staff who were always so friendly and helpful despite the Covid restrictions in place. The whole complex was very well organised with plenty of sanitisers available, The staff wore masks at all times. It always felt safe.
The restaurant was again well organised with staggered mealtimes to accommodate smaller groups of diners at a time, All well spaced out. The menu was varied and suitable for all dietary requirements. The food served was excellent.
A full programme of activities was available every day, with something for everyone to enjoy, the evening entertainment was of a very high standard indeed and the outdoor pool was still open which was a bonus.
Overall we can’t recommend this holiday more highly, well done Warner’s.

A Lovely Stay
We booked very last minute a four night, half board stay at Sinah Warren. We had two signature rooms which were a very nice size with lots of the additional touches and spotless. Our only issue was they were located a long walk from the lift and most facilities.
Having read the food and dining reviews on TA we were apprehensive and I wasn’t expecting much, how ever we were pleasantly surprised with our half board dining options and found the food to be fine.
All the staff were extremely helpful, polite and efficient.
The grounds were really well kept and spotless.
Special shout out to:
Helen breakfast service
Kelly breakfast pastries
Graham evening dining
Theresa breakfast and evening service
Ian maintenance/groundskeeper team
Gavin Ellis Pavilion Theatre DJ - especially for the late party sessions.
James Austin entertainment team
All the bar and drinks service at the Pavilion theatre
Our only real issue was the cost of food and drinks at the outdoor pool bar, £6.25 for a ham sandwich, literally two slices of bread and some ham. £2.30 for a bottle of water (500ml).
Overall we really enjoyed our visit and would return.

Just back from a two-day break at Sinah Warren. There are a few positives but it's not somewhere I'd go again. We tend to go on cruise holidays with P&O but right now that's off the table so we looked for something like a cruise but on land. We like meals inclusive and shows/quizzes/activities all laid on, so on paper this ticked all those boxes.
Positives.
Staff: The staff are exceptional. The team of mostly young waiters and bar staff are a friendly and happy bunch and represent the Warner brand perfectly. 10/10
Negatives:
Food: I'm afraid we found the food a huge disappointment. We know things are a little different right now but there's no excuse for poor menus and badly executed plates of food. A perfect example would be, we asked for our beef medium rare. You could tell by the reaction that they don't do thing like this at Warner and true enough all our beef meals came out well done. Another thing we noticed is that some days things would be missing from the plate. Yesterday it was roast beef with Yorkshires and out of our table for 4, none of us got a Yorkshire. Some had carrots and others didn't. One of the 4 had roast beetroot instead! It was all a bit bonkers.
2/10
Rooms: We made a bad decision to upgrade to the 'signature room'. What a waste of extra money that was. We got a few extras in the room but it was a disappointment nonetheless. The view was overlooking a car park and the staff huts (whereas we gave up a standard room which had a balcony!)
The smallest bottle of milk I've ever seen (to last Wed-Fri) and it was already on it's last 'use by' day when we checked in! A tiny 330ml bottle of still water to last a few days and when we had more we were charged over £3 for 750ml bottles of water.
Room service was slapdash too. They don't clean our cups/glasses or empty our bins. They literally made the beds and replaced the towels.
No air con, no fans just a window so in the summer prepare to bake.
Safe too small for a 14" laptop.
Bear in mind there are lots of over 65s at the hotel and they tend to get up at the crack of dawn so choose a top floor room to avoid footfall.
3/10
Entertainment: The resident band were good quality but we found the mixture of activities limited and the visiting acts a bit samey. I can see the hotel needs to cater for it's main market (over 65s) but I do feel they need to raise their game and keep appealing to new audiences too. 5/10
Prices: The price of our two night break (2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals included) was about £560. When we go on cruises we pay around £100 per person per night so Warner's are expensive in comparison. Plus on the cruise it's full board (so lunch included too) and we're travelling from port to port all for £100 each a night.
Despite Warners being more expensive, the quality was nowhere near a typical P&O holiday so overall we found our trip really poor value for money.
Positives.

Hello, Thank you for posting a review following your stay at Sinah Warren. It's good to hear that you found our team really helpful with 10 out of 10 for service. It’s with regret that you felt disappointed with your dining experience during your break and we apologise if our new measures and new service, implemented for our guests’ health, safety and enjoyment, caused you some dissatisfaction. Some of the menu changes, team shortages and the additional Covid-safe ways of working have made it challenging to deliver our new dining experiences. We are confident that by making some interim changes, our new food and beverage experience will be returned to the usual high levels our guests, including yourself, expect from us. Thank you again for your comments regarding your stay, as well as your accommodation and entertainment feedback. We’ve ensured these are noted going forward and we do hope to welcome you back to Warner again soon. Regards, Emma C

Arrived Monday 6th Sept, our room was a signature room with a view over Langstone harbour, room number was 474. Room was very comfy and the bed was huge , it advertised a large flatscreen TVs , actually it was a 32 inch.bathroom was well equipped and the shower was powerful. In the fridge there was two bottles of water and a pint of semi skimmed milk and on the table there was two bottles of fruit juice plus various crisps, biscuits and nibbles. The bar operated table service . When you arrive you register your card at reception and bar payments are automatically added to your account . The entertainment was geared for the more elderly but still enjoyable. The restaurant was excellent, breakfast was huge with a fantastic variety of foodstuffs, the evening meal was superb, my starter every night was the chefs board, delicious, highlight meals for me were the lamb shank and the beef strip loin, desserts were fantastic too, probably the best hotel food I’ve eaten for a long time. All of the staff were excellent, they were very friendly and always willing to help. The gardens were lovely and the outside pool was warm and very clean, the pool bar operated the same payment system as the bar. Only negatives, which were very minor were that there was no shaving mirror and if you followed your partner the mirror was steamed up in the bathroom and there was no air con. Newspapers can be collected at reception and again charged to your room. Although the hotel is isolated I would go back.we were very lucky with the weather and we enjoyed a fantastic day out in historic Portsmouth

Yes - you can be nearer to amenities by going up one or two floors- ground floor sounds good but can still be a long walk down a corridor.
There were people playing bowls outdoors all weekend. The large green is very close to the main reception entrance.
Good Morning Christine. The chalets are smaller than the Signature Rooms and have a standard double bed in them. There is a step-in shower and no bath. For your information there are no twin bedded chalet rooms. Hope this helps.
