Spent two enjoyable nights here in a double en-suite room. The room was thoughtfully equipped, and the bed comfortable. It had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The lounge was large and comfy with a very welcome roaring fire. Breakfast was delicious, and hosts Jill and

Having stayed at the Copsewood on previous visits to Hayling, we had no hesitation booking another stay when we visited friends at the weekend. We have never had any problems before and have always highly rated our stays, however on this occasion we experienced a few issues with

Great place to stay, hosts are frendly, welcoming, helpful genuine people. Room was great with an ensuite bathroom. Location was fantastic, lovely island and house was off the main roads so was quiet. Large offroad parking area. Lovely big lounge for use by guests, with doors

I stayed over at Copsewood House as it is conveniently close to Hayling Golf Club. The house has a lovely homely atmosphere. The en-suite bronze room, I chose, was comfortable and well appointed. The house is in a peaceful and quiet part of the island and I had a very good

Booked this B&B back in April (3 months ago) for two nights this weekend so could attend my Sister in Law’s 50th birthday party. Due to a family funeral due to take place this Friday we rang the B&B as soon as we knew when funeral would be, as obviously these things are out of

I have now investigated your complaint. Firstly it was clearly explained when you first booked, that weekend was one of two where we require a 2 night or more reservation, which you were in agreement to. Secondly our telephone is a direct line which is either answered or on call divert, where messages can be left. Our telephone log shows the first telephone call you made after your initial booking was on Tuesday 10th July just 3 days before the funeral, this call was at 13.38 and you cancelled the Friday night speaking to my House Manager, who still confirmed the booking cost would be for 2 nights. You made another call the same day at 18.30 hours, which went to answer machine. You did not leave a message, but you did telephone again immediately at 18.30 hours, when You then spoke with my House Manager and asked check in time and requested use of a cot. I then telephoned you on the 13th Friday, to clarify that the booking was for two nights. You decided you did not want to honour the reservation and you cancelled it, not us. I was understanding that you were in a difficulty situation and gave my condolences at your loss. With our Customer Care Policy, you were not charged, nor was a deposit paid or taken.
