#3 of 18 B&Bs / Inns in Halifax
The Crossroads Inn has recently been totally refurbished throughout and now offers a comfortable dining environment and relaxed bar area. Set on the Pennine Moors between Halifax, Haworth and Hebden Bridge with breathtaking views of the Yorkshire valleys. The Crossroads Inn has what everyone looks for in a good quality establishment. We serve good home cooked food each day as well as a daily specials board where local produce and fresh food is top of our priorities, along with our Sunday lunches and children's menu. The Crossroads has six en suite bed & breakfast rooms with coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs and free WI-Fi.

As the title suggests, I want this place to be secret. But I'm being selfish I guess! A warm welcome, rooms comfortable, with those little touches that really make the difference. Like a simple bar of chocolate on the courtesy tray as well as the nice biscuits. Decent tea and coffee sachets here too, not the usual cash and carry own brands you see so often in small hotels. And yes- this is a small hotel, but don't let this put you off. My PA booked this for me as it was close to a business owner I had to visit over a few days, initially thought it looked like any other inn but was really pleasantly surprised. Evening menu very good, and more choice than most"pub" menus. All served hot and fresh (do try the deep fried brie wedges!) And a good range of ales/beers stocked and well kept. All the staff very attentive to your needs, despite the c*vid 19 protocols in place. Bar is well subscribed by the locals, so can be a bit busy of an evening, but if you want a stop somewhere a bit out of town, I heartily recommend that you give Jayne and the team a call.

Went for tea with some friends, we all had something different and all plates were emptied. We eat out a lot and it's a longtime since I had something so tasty, portions are great. Will definitely be returning.

Very warm welcome from friendly staff. Dinner was reasonably priced and quite large portions. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Only problem was we could hear other residents who ran a bath at 6 am and the water system seemed to be in our bathroom so was very loud.
