My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and had a very nice stay, we had noisy people in the room next door for the first night, but we were made aware of this when we checked in and the hosts did apologise. The room was spotless, as it was last year when we stayed too, all the rooms have...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Rembrandt. The hosts, Paul and Linda, were very welcoming and helpful and the room was clean and as expected for the price: just what you need for a short stay. The breakfast was excellent and tailored to your wishes and set me up for the day. Room key was issued on arrival and...

We stayed at the Rembrandt for a 2 night break. The whole house was spotless and the breakfast was really good. There is parking available which is important (as car parking prices can add a lot to your stay) The proprietors were friendly and very helpfull and we will go back again and recommend to friends.

When we arrived we waited several mins while the owner finished on her computer and recieved a few phone calls then we were asked some blunt questions about breakfast and handed our key no hi bye or enjoy your stay. The room was tiny but for £40 you can't really moan. The single bed was 2ft wide like the sort...

Stayed here overnight before boarding ship: although this part of town is slightly down at heel, The Rembrandt is in a good central location, with clean and comfortable small rooms, and very friendly and helpful owners. No complaints at all, and a very reasonable price

pros: friendly people, close to the beach, rather cheap. cons: tiny room (with no toilet or bathroom), very thin walls (could heard everything happening in the neighbouring rooms), sounded like an earthquake when somebody walked in the hallways. About the breakfast: it is compulsory (08.30 to 09.00 only) and quite disgusting honestly. I liked the tea and the toast, but...
