Henry's on the Prom B&B is situated opposite Britannia Pier and just a few steps to the glorious beaches of this traditional resort. The six bedrooms (two with separate children's room) are in the shabby chic style with a soft pastel designer decor with memory foam mattresses and pillows, crisp white cotton linens, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen TVs. Four of the six rooms have spectacular sea views. Included in the price is the breakfast of your choice including the ever popular Henry's Norfolk Breakfast!

Such a lovely little b&b! Two of us had dietary requirements and the owner ensured they were met for breakfast and even brought the milk alternative I preferred to use. The room itself was lovely and clean, shower was fab and the location was wonderful and easy for us to pop back when we needed to. Thank you so much!

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Alex who was so friendly and keen to make our stay perfect. Our room had great views of the prom and was warm and cosy. A very central location and easy to park nearby. We had the cooked breakfast and Alex went out of her way to provide veggie options for us. A definite 10/10 it tasted amazing and was generous. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for one night using a Buy a Gift voucher we were given for Christmas. It was perfect and we knew it would be from the moment we arrived. The owner is lovely & everywhere was clean with nice touches & attention to detail. Our room was cosy, comfortable and the shower was amazing! Our room had a view over the prom with lovely armchairs in the bay window to enjoy the view. Breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a perfect stay

Room freezing with an odd smell! Owner’s attitude is disgusting! Paid an extra £60 for upgrade only to be told no heating on between 8.30am and 4.30pm and it’s November!! Owners refused to refund £60 and told us they couldn’t afford to have heating on! Breakfast was mediocre at best! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I make no apology for the bluntness of this response. In four years of running Henry’s you are the most rude , unreasonable guests we have had the misfortune of staying with us. You arrived Early for check in and we was decent enough to let you in. I explained to you that the heating was timed to come on at 4.30. We heard nothing from you all night. You came in for breakfast with a disgusting attitude, moaning aggressively in front of other guests that you was cold throughout the night. Maybe you have been living on another planet this year and not seen the energy crisis??? What we meant by not being able to afford heating was that if everyone was like you and wanted the heating on was that we simply couldn’t afford to run at today’s energy cost. The heating is on throughout the evening and early in the morning when guests are waking up . You made a ridiculous statement that you came to sit in your room all day.! Who in their right mind goes away to sit in a room all day! Besides all this you gave us no chance to rectify anything and your aggressive vile behaviour will not be tolerated. You threatened my husband in front of guests and my young son. You clearly have sour grapes as our breakfast is top quality as our reviews confirm. Let’s hope other B&Bs do not have the displeasure of people like you! Lastly the odd smell was the glue from the new Lino flooring

i went to this B&B with my twins and other half. The landlady is lovely and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and extra toast given even though breakfast came originally with just one slice. Little touches in kids room were lovely. fantastic place to stay and take kids to the seafront would recommend highly

Convenient access for bus (stop outside) cinema opposite. My husband and I both have mobility problems and did not experience any problems apart from lack of extra rail in shower . Hotel very clean and all staff we encountered were excellent and helpful.

Having seen all the reviews of this place, it looked worth staying at. It's described as "shabby chic" - well, that's half right! Tatty, grubby, tired decor and furnishings. The breakfast room is nothing at all like the photographs on the website show. The breakfast (it has to be ordered the day before) was just about adequate. The cooked breakfast at £8 each, was a single egg, a solitary sausage, a lone rasher of bacon, and a serving of tomatoes or beans. Poor. The woman who runs it doesn't live there. The house next door is being or has been, bought by her and is being renovated (it's empty) so the workmen are there during the day. Great Yarmouth is marginally better than Skegness, but this guest house isn't the best.

First of all let’s get the facts right, I do live next door at 72, the work men you are referring to are making a Chinese restaurant. My house was next to this, so I suggest you get your facts right! You are given a food menu of 9 item breakfast which is a big breakfast which includes toast and cereals. We have lots of guests commenting on our breakfast and our reviews show it, so I do not know why you would say this. Yes we do give a menu out the day on arrival which we ask you to put in the box by 7am. This works very well if this was a problem for you, you could of given me your form when you came down for breakfast.
