well this our second visit to The New Beach hotel, we had a good Christmas break, room great lovely and clean and comfortable, food was very good also the service, our waiter mikie was very attentive and very efficient ,but sadly the entertainment and atmosphere let it down, not very festive at all there was entertainment on all nights but sadly we had seen them in August and wasn't very impressed then, there was a notice saying entertainment at 4 and. 8-30 on Christmas day went down at 4 and it was all over finished so missed that, there was 2 competition guess the weight of the cake and guess how many sweets in a jar but there was no mention of who won them no one seemed to now anything about them, but we will probably go again as we love great Yarmouth ant the hotel.

I have been away with Alfa coaches many times and to some good hotels. Since this pandemic and the so called ‘opening up’ of restrictions I have been very wary of having a trip away. However I booked a trip with two friends with Alfa for 5th November and the hotel was The New Beach in Great Yarmouth. Well I could never have been more pleased. Everything was just perfect. Unfortunately for both of the businesses they were under half full but it suited me for the first break away under the circumstances. The staff were friendly, fun and helpful. I was travelling as a single and to my absolute happiness I was given a double room!! BLISS.. Top marks to Alfa and The New Beach Hotel.

Booked a get away with geevee coach travel. Never been to Yarmouth before so fancied a trip here! Hotel is lovely. In the centre of everything you possibly could need, arcades for adults and the kids! Cafes & bars on the pier Situated right on the sea front so perfect location! Traveled as a family. Rooms lovely, could do with a lick of paint to freshen them up but it’s clean and beds are very comfortable, and has everything you need. Food was alright! Always choice every evening and we as a family always found something to eat. Some foods you can pre order at breakfast if you wanted something different. Chocolate brownie is to die for !!! Breakfast no problems, standard fry up most enjoyable! Choice of cereals porridge and fruit juice at the help your self stations if needed! We had excursions on our holiday coach so went to Norwich and Lowestoft. I’m here 25th - 29th oct Check in was fast! Cases get taken up to your rooms by the staff which is perfect! They also take them away on departure so no lugging the cases up and down the lifts! I believe all floors can be reached by a lift if required and still may require a few steps. Unsure as I haven’t explored the whole hotel. Can’t comment on entertainment as we didn’t participate. Cannot fault the staff from the beginning at reception. To the bar staff. To the restaurant staff. All happy to help, friendly and welcoming. Thankyou for a lovely stay! We also got told we could have a FREE! Packed lunch to collect (Thursday) and that was beautiful! Plenty of choice. You can also buy a pack lunch for your departure ( unsure if this is just coach holidays) But either way! Bargain for what you get and it’s all fresh and plenty! Worth the £4.75! Our room was on 1sr floor but was quiet! And view was down the side street and sea view! So had best of both worlds!!

The New Beach is ideally located on Great Yarmouths seafront within easy walking distance of seafront amenities & the town centre. The hotel itself is large with what appears to be decent sized rooms. Meals are taken in a large dining room which offers a good range of evening meals nightly entertainment is in a medium sized ballroom

We have just returned from a 6 day break with Alfa Travel staying at the New Beach hotel,Great Yarmouth. Our check in was very quick, and we soon found our room on the 3rd floor, which had a side sea view. Our cases were soon delivered to our room. Everywhere was lovely and clean, and the bed and pillows were the best I've ever had on holiday. I actually slept on the first night. The only thing I would say was that the shower cubical was very small and the actual shower would have been better positioned( , giving more room) ,in the corner. You still got a good shower though even if you had to stand straight. The food was lovely ,hot and with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and were happy to help. We really enjoyed our break, and would return
