Good place for a 1 night stop; very good breakfast (selection of both continental and Scottish are available). Nice and friendly owners. Good location, very quiet even room was on the street side; parking available. Room and bathroom were a little too small (but we were told that the house is a 19th century one, so no big complaint here)

Nicely presented property with friendly and helpful hosts. Easy check in and shown to our rooms. Beautiful room facing the front with no excessive road noise. Given local tips on where to eat, places to visit etc from our hosts. Lovely breakfasts including a scrumptious scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

We VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED the Willowbank Guesthouse in Grantown on Spey. This was our first visit and it definitely won't be our last visit. The Willowbank Guesthouse is run by a genuinely lovely young couple who look after all their guests' needs, wants and wishes very professionally, extremely politely and always with big smiles and genuinely informative chit-chats. Our bedroom...

If you like rules designed for the convenience of your host this is your place! A strict 4pm check in - there at 3 in the rain - doesn't matter - come back at 4. Breakfast is at 8 am - usually if you are a few minutes early you get a coffee while you wait - not here -...

We stayed here after walking 17 miles of the Speyside Way from Aviemore. The room had been booked by the walking holiday company but the hosts seemed oblivious to our needs. We were wet, cold and tired and had to go through lots of admin (such as how to open a door with 2 hands) before we were able to...

We stayed in room 1 which was spacious but next to street and main door so we could hear ppl opening and closing main door. Very Weak toilet flush. We were sternly warned during check in that we can only put the toilet paper provided into the toilets and absolutely nothing else. But even that couldn't be flushed easily so...

The rooms we booked were not en-suite and the bathroom was on another floor, so we had to pay to upgrade to en-suite. The rooms were a good size. We had to order breakfast the night before. The central heating was good and controlable. The hosts helped with advice for dining out and the pie and chips place was good...

We stayed here two nights whilst touring Scotland. Our en-suite room was on the ground floor and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful and good to recommend superb eating places. Also the breakfasts were very good, with plenty of variety. Highly recommended.
