We had a lovely welcome from Steve who even carried one of our cases up the stairs. The rooms were clean and quirky in their decor and very homely. Breakfast was lovely - with a really good choice of options.

Lovely B & B. We had the attic room with private bathroom across the landing. Rooms tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. And if that wasn't enough to warrant 5* our hosts, Ginny and Steve were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Steve was like a very knowledgeable tourist information guide!! He took time to give recommendations and advice on travel routes etc. Thank you guys will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Lots of positives. It's a fine old house. The hosts are lovely. Breakfast is generous. Dog-friendly . Negatives are noise from next door room and on street parking is tight. It's a 4.5 from me. Grantown is also pretty brilliant.

Our Stay at Dunallan house was probably the nicest B&B experience I've had. The house is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and they had a good choice of options available each day. However, what was genuinely touching, was just how helpful, friendly and considerate the owners are. They're a lovely family and I hope to be able to stay again in future.

Probably the best small guest house /b and b I have ever stayed in. From the warm and efficient welcome by Virginia to the breakfast served with enthusiasm and aplomb by Steve everything was perfect. Delicious kippers. The rooms were very comfortable and our hosts had thought of everything. A real 5-star experience for me and my fellow walkers.

Had a weekend stay that couldn't have been better. Breakfast was delicious, our hosts were very gracious, and the beds were some of the firmest we've ever slept in. Perfect location for exploring the Cairngorms!

Excellent guest house , Great breakfast, the hosts are friendly, just a short walk to the centre of town. The room was very comfortable, clean , great shower. Stephen, host , full of information about the local area. Across the road from Craig bar which is worth a visit.

Lovely stay!! Room was cosy and clean. Bed was comfy with plenty of amenities including some very comfy bathrobes! We had a private bathroom across the landing from our room on the top floor which was wonderful 😁 shower and large bathtub was included with a fab selection of products (which I used in the bath ☺️) Plentiful options for breakfast and was delicious. Thank you Stephen and Ginny for being such friendly and accommodating hosts!

What a lovely place to stay! Close to the town, lovely, warm, friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble, Stephen was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable of the area, pleasant, chatty, very down to earth. Didn't really see his wife Ginny atall, would've have liked to, however, it doesn't matter. Parking isn't too great, but that wouldn't put us off staying there again, lovely comfortable room, the bed wasn't too comfortable though, however, again, that wouldn't stop us staying again. Good value for money, lovely breakfast, nice little touches in the room- shower gel, sewing kit, shower cap, bath robes. Thanks for a lovely, pleasant experience! Keep up the good work!

We stayed here for 2 nights in July 2021 and we had a fantastic short-break. This B&B offers a lot. The hosts Stephen and Ginny are the most friendly and lovely hosts you can meet. Very chatty and genuinely nice people. We really enjoyed our family room (triple room) which was very comfortable and nicely finished. I liked the expensive toiletries in the bathroom and all the small amenities, like sewing kit, dental kit, etc. It’s rare to find these at B&B, but this is why this B&B is so great. There is so much attention to detail. We loved their breakfast. It was a lot of breakfast. We had fresh fruit, porridge, full English breakfast. On second morning I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon which was divine! We usually like to try everything on the first morning and we literally were overwhelmed with the amount of food, although my husband was in haven. It was fantastic and exactly what we needed after long isolation months. We just wanted to feel pampered with food, service and hospitality and we found it here. They also catered for our sons’ allergies. He has many and they really made an extra effort. This really was fantastic! We stayed here as we came to visit Highland Safari Park, but it’s worth visiting Granton-on-Spey itself! We couldn’t find any reasonably priced accommodation in Aviemore hence we looked elsewhere and we were so glad! Granton-on-Spey is much prettier than Aviemore and has many stunning Victorian houses and streets. There are also many walks to the river and distillery nearby. From here we travelled to Nairn as it was a hot day and we wanted to visit Hamish’s Splash park which was ideal for our toddler on a hot, sunny day. We hope the prices stay the same as we felt it was a great value for money and with the same prices we will come back in the future. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and we will be back here again.…
