Our problem was the stairs - to get to breakfast room it is down a half flight, up a half flight to residents lounge then...

Stayed 2 nights, everything was more than adequate. Check in was great, the young lady was really nice. The town itself is beautiful , the people in the local pub were so friendly, and a lot of fun. At check out, the lady was really friendly and we had a chat for a few minutes. Just really nice people.

It really could not have been better for us. We stayed in the Trout suite which suited us perfectly (three generations and a dog) and gave us plenty of space. The spa bath...

I've not stayed anywhere else in town so can't comment on how this compares. On the upside we loved the evening meal and breakfast. Couldn't get the wifi to work at all. Mattress seemed cheap and uncomfortable. Other reviewers either had great or poor rooms. Think we had the latter. Wouldn't avoid for those reasons but next time would check...

“The two suites have spa baths. The Salmon suite looks out over the front street but the Trout has nice views out to the mountains.”
