Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

From the minute we pulled into the parking area we were treated like honored guests, with the hosts meeting us, helping us with our luggage, showing us our rooms, providing cold water to drink and snacks in the room. They made sure we got off for dinner with directions and met us when we returned. There are three lovely common areas where we gathered, one had a bar area and the other very comfortable seating with television and games available. The hosts even joined us one night in a game. They also served wonderful breakfasts in a glass conservatory, hot cooked to order or cold. They take care of every detail and provide all service with graciousness. They also made dinner reservations for us. The beds are large and comfortable. I could not recommend them highly enough!

Massive thank you to Cris and Nick for making both myself and my wife welcome.

I cannot rate Ravenscourt house highly enough. The moment you walk through the door you feel like any troubles you may have are immediately left behind.

The place itself has a feel about it that just gives you a warming feeling. The bed we had was so comfortable and slept so well.

Cris and Nick are welcoming and attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble. The breakfast was great and had no complaints.

Will definitely be returning

Warm welcoming hosts, who immediately make you feel at home.
ˋOur house is your house‘ and that’s how it felt.
The fabulously furnished accommodation was exceptionally clean and tidy.
Our cosy, characterful room had all the required facilities including a walk-in shower unit.
Served in the spacious conservatory, offering views of the property’s spinney and the wildlife antics within, the cooked and buffet-style breakfast was extensive and delicious. Porridge is cooked to order, and just right too.
Evening meals are also served in the recently opened restaurant. The menu is varied and scrumptious and the atmosphere is enjoyably mellow.
Chris and Nick’s attentive and genuine customer care coupled to their meticulous attention to detail made this one of the best ever holidays we’ve ever had.
We’d gladly return.

Ravenscourt House is a Beautiful B&B located in idyllic setting in a quant town.
The House and Rooms were spotless, and well designed and furnished. The bed and linens were new and of nice quality.
We received fresh brewed coffee each morning at the table (or an Expresso if you needed it) along with a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast of our choice. Nick and Cris are wonderful hosts and great people. Very attentive and personable. We sat for several nights just talking for hours with a Whiskey dram in our hands. The Ravenscourt House is the place to Stay to visit the highlands and Speyside. Cris and Nick can help you get lined up with great guide service or just great places to see, just contact them. We are wishing we were still there just hanging out for the evening!!!

By far the best place we stayed during our road trip through Scotland. The owners Nick and Cris have put so much love into this house that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived (Nick greeted us right at the doorstep with a beaming smile on his face). They both go out of their way to remember the first names of all their guests. They are both very kind-hearted souls and the Ravenscourt reflects just that. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. This is topped off by a phantastic breakfastv which Cris prepares fresh by order. We enjoyed their attention to detail and if anything was out of order or we needed help, they were right there to assist us. We also really enjoyed our little chats in the evening. It is just a wonderful place that we can't wait to return to.

Incredible place to stay and a must stop on any trip to Scotland. We were taken back to a different time and place where hospitality was the rule and graciousness was the norm. The bar beckoned “have a drink and enjoy a great conversation with the hosts”. The breakfasts were delicious and made you want to linger and have another cup of coffee or tea. The rooms were cozy, immaculate and hastened you to the land of nod. Our next trip will be sure to include another stay at this incredible place. Thanks guys for a wonderful stay.

I'm tempted not to "rave(n)" about this place too much, so I will manage to get a room again the next time I'm in Scotland! Jokes aside, it's a beautiful place, our room was decorated in a lovely way, they had cold water and sweet snacks for us on arrival. Our hosts Chris and Nick were very helpful with activities we could do in the spey valley and had lots of flyers and personal recommendations on hand. The breakfast was excellent: there was a big selection of continental and scottish breakfast, more like a big delicious brunch, actually:)

Cris, and especially Nick, were outstanding hosts and went the extra mile. Rooms were a high standard, loved the bar they offered in their lovely house. Good quality breakfast too and property is very well situated - central without being right in town square. The only thing I'm not a fan of is - and this is on the assumption that the price is at the top end for the town - is charging extra for a latte or cappuccino coffee. I understand why that is done but in my view, at these prices, they can affford to take the hit for the relatively few people who will order one for breakfast. I would still thoroughly recommend this place though.

Perfect for our base to explore Speyside. Nick was very nice and the room was perfect. (We never got to meet Chris). Breakfast was perfect, made to order and Nick even had substitutions when I told him I didn’t eat pork. Unfortunately we weren’t there very long, I wish we had had more time. The room and bathroom were spotless, as was the whole house, (I’m very picky about that) and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend and definitely stay again!

The building and interior is classic and gives you a proper brittish atmosphere. High quality breakfast; we had good coffee (you don’t get that everywhere in Britain :)), a variety of yogurts and fresh berries. The couple who runs the guest house is warm, friendly and made us feel relaxed and “at home”.
