We had a very enjoyable stay at Brooklyn, a very comfortable b&b. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4. The house is just behind the main road in a very quiet position and so we slept very well. Excellent variety of breakfast, expertly cooked using local produce and was delicious. Thanks again for the muffins and cake. The house is in good position for a short walk into the lovely small town for an excellent choice of evening meals. Shona was extremely careful regarding the covid restrictions and we felt very safe and looked after. A very welcoming and friendly host. We are hoping to return before too long.

Brooklynn was a delightful guest house where we received a very warm welcome after a long day's walking. The room was lovely and clean with an incredibly comfy bed and everything you might need. The breakfast was just astonishing – fresh fruit from the garden, delicious homemade muffins and very generous portions which well and truly set us up for the day. We felt so well looked after and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brooklyn to anyone visiting Grantown.

This is a very well-run B&B. The owners take great care to protect their guests from Covid whilst ensuring that everyone feels welcome and safe. The breakfasts are amazing and the room was warm, comfortable, and very clean We stayed for 2 nights and I will definitely be back as I had a great relaxing stay which considering the time we have all had over the last 18 months was much appreciated

Very friendly hosts. We liked the system for ordering breakfast in advance so as to avoid food waste,. The breakfast room and lounge were large and bright,. The food was fresh, high quality and copious! The room was large and comfortable. The owners are still in the process of upgrading the facilities, so the bathroom lighting was a bit dim. We prefer a hard surface bathroom floor, but that may just be our personal preference. The front garden was amazing - completely filled with beautiful flowers. The location is quiet, but just a few blocks from the very nice and not too tourist-filled main street

We had a lovely stay at Brooklyn for 2 nights in late June. The location is only a few minutes walk from the high street and there is ample parking.

The rooms are very comfortable and have retained the character of the house.
Shona is the perfect host and always on hand to help and provide hints and tips for walks and places to eat etc.

The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options, including vegetarian / vegan breakfast Shona also provides home baked muffins every morning too, which went down well after a walk in the Cairngorms.

We had an evening meal in the Craig Bar and Wee Puffin, which were both great and good value.

Shona made our stay very welcome. Essential information was mostly contained in a handy folder, including restaurants in the area. Lots of interesting books to read in the living room about walks and Scotland. Bedroom was big and beds comfy. Not used to having carpet in the bathroom, was afraid to get water onto it. Nice toiletries provided, couldn’t figure which one was the soap for the shower. Breakfast was delicious, I like that we are asked what we wanted specifically the evening before so as not to waste food. Takeaway raspberry muffins from breakfast was a fantastic idea!! A great start to our exploration of the Scottish highlands.

Lovely last minute two night stay in Brooklynn. Shona was a wonderful host, she was warm and welcoming and made sure to greet us in the mornings on our way out for the day.
The house is full of character and warmth and Strathisla room was perfectly set up with a queen sized bed and good shower.
We appreciated the made to order breakfast to reduce food waste. Her homemade and homegrown blackcurrant compote and granola was lovely and the muffins were better than anything in the shops!
Location was great within the village and in relation to further afield and Shona had all the tips and tricks for getting the best out of our short stay.
Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

An excellent family owned BnB, my partner and I originally booked as a spur of the moment holiday around the end of June 2021 (during lighter covid restrictions in Scotland).

Prior to arrival we had an excellent, easy to follow and clear set of covid rules for our stay emailed to us (including all the usual info about check in etc). Needless to say we had no problems at all checking in, which during covid has honestly been a first for us accomodation wise.

Our hostess, Shona was absolutely great and gave us some excellent recommendations for food in the local Grantown area. The service in general was brilliant, she was more then happy to chat with us when we had time but was never pushy or overbearing, again excellent.

Our room was overall very comfortable and absolutely spotless on our arrival! With a great super king sized bed (which was perfect after a long day of mountain walking).

Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and flexible morning timings. The food was great and the portions were spot on.

Overall I have to rate this as one of my favourite stays in a family owned BnB as it felt more like a hotel with professional and friendly service.

We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was as described. Brooklynn is Ideally located if you are walking into town or exploring the Speyside area. A charming Victorian house - There is a homely atmosphere about this place that makes you feel so welcome. We simply couldn't fault the 'Full Scottish' breakfast and good luck resisting the homemade muffins! Shona and Thorsten are great hosts - We will return.
