We took advantage of the Sunday night deal, where you paid £35/person for the room so long as you had a 3 course meal from our a la carte menu. We were in the loft room (no 4) which was lovely. There were rooms at the £10/person which looked equally nice online. The meal was delicious, my husbands steak looked...

Fabulous array of drinks, including a great range of summer cocktails at the time of our visit. Dinner in the restaurant was a delicious treat. Chateaubriand was especially good. We were staying on...

When I booked the room the gentleman was obviously under pressure, not much courtesy there! The promised confirmation e-mail never arrived so I called the day before our arrival. A gentleman confirmed our booking and said the room is usually available at midday. Turning up at midday we were told to return at 14.00. The room was adequate, no chairs...
