Just had afternoon tea at the Grange Hotel today, very friendly reception, the food quality was excellent and the waiter service was spot on. The location of the hotel has excellent views over Morecambe Bay. Great value for money.

Took the family here to celebrate my birthday. They all loved it. The rooms we had were excellent - great views out over the bay, the beds comfortable (and enormous). The rooms were really well furnished and tastefully decorated. Someone mentioned lino in the bathroom, in another review. Yes there was lino in my bathroom, but to be honest, it...

Some colleagues had stayed at this hotel and raved about it so I thought I would give it a try. I arrived when it was dark and the poorly lit car park and lack of signage to reception didn't give the best first impression. When I arrived I was just struck by what, in my opinion, is a tacky interior....

My Wife and I had a lovely 2 night break here 18-20 Nov. Fantastic building and a superb room. Family owned which gives it a very welcoming feeling. All of the staff very nice and we had a very tasty meal in the carriages restaurant at the hotel. Surrounding area of Grange Over Sands & Cartmel has a good selection...

I have been there for a meeting and caught the opportunity sleep a night + breakfast. Reception ok and very explicative. Personnel was definitely very professional, non intrusive and committed to their roles. Good recipes, variety and quality of food, @ breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't judge money value for the restaurant, in my case it was included in...

A ' Good place ', not my words but the words of a fellow guest from Skipton dining at the next table in one of the 'Carriages'. This hotel is a glorious place to visit, flamboyant in its interior with huge high ceilings, ionic columns dominant colours of red and gold., it has the granduer of what fine hotels used...

We took advantage of the special offer for the 150th Anniversary of £150 for Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal in the restaurant and had a really lovely break. We paid extra and had Room 205 which is a spacious suite with a huge four poster bed and comfortable bathroom with a separate bath and shower cubicle. The view over the...

When we pulled upto the Hotel it took our breath away. Beautiful building and lovely decor inside. Our room had a lovely big bed and really clean. We also had a beautiful meal at The Carriages, some of the best food I've ever had and it was a nice romantic atmosphere with candle light. We are definitely hoping to stay...

Lovely hotel, great service and attention to detail, Staff are happy to deal with any requests immediately. Full of character with lots of original features, being built when the railway first came to Grange. Beautiful room overlooking the garden and sea in the distance. Excellent meal in Carriages Restaurant. Hope to return soon and maybe stay longer.
