My hubby booked last minute. We didn't read the reviews till the night before. To be honest we were panicking as there is a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, and also didn't know what were we're letting ourselves in for. Well we only payed £105 for 3 nights. We had a room in the bungalow. Yes it was...

The location is fantastic, with amazing views over the Morecambe Bay. We stayed in the self catering pine lodges which were superb. Lovely and peaceful place. Very welcoming, and staff were pleasant The main hotel also had a lovely vibe to it. We didn't eat at the hotel but went to a restaurant 5 minutes drive away called the Pheasant...

We booked this with some trepidation following other rather negative reviews, but we didn't regret it all when we arrived. OK, the place is never going to be 4 or 5 star, but it doesn't pretend to be. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the swimming pool was an added bonus, and the breakfast was excellent. With this...

Although I booked an en suite room I was told this was unavailable. However this was rectified with a free bottle of wine and a reduced rate. Staff were very friendly. Room was next to bathroom. Room decor was rather plain and quite small but decent and clean enough. Nice location and pleasant surroundings however. Not near the town but...

On entering the building the reception area was dirty as were carpets and covers on settees and chairs situated in the lounge areas. Sight of the bedroom brought on a wave of nausea and anger that any business could have the audacity to advertise this place and they, and the people working in the hotel reception, apart from lowering themselves...
