If you're after a nice looking room for your wedding then sutherlands is a good choice, however if you also want polite and helpful staff look somewhere else. buffet unbelievable for price staff friendly and owner welcoming and on site excellent buffet and dj was brilliant well done Helen and Heather it is like staying with family somer people seem to expect a hell of a lot more than they pay for

Seriously needs updating So old fashioned and extremely dated and run down. Carpets are coming away duck tape holding them in place. Toilets broken tiles everywhere and very dirty. Staff ok some of the drinks not nice buffet made on a budget

Had a celebration here lately and all I can say is it is the worse buffet I have ever encountered , do your own buffet if you can . There was about 60.00 worth of food instead of the 400.00 they charge , there was literally nothing there a few chicken drumsticks , sandwiches , pickled onions cheese , pizza,...

I stayed here for two nights and also had initial reservations like others, especially as I arrived quite late and entered via the bar area which was quite busy with music playing. However the staff greeted me well, took my luggage and showed me to the very nice, clean, cosy and spacious room. There was plenty of tea and coffee...

Stayed at Sutherlands overnight as had a birthday party function at the hotel. The room was fine and comfortable. Had tea and coffee facilities, and nice big bath. The staff were helpful. Had a good stay
