#10 of 25 B&Bs / Inns in Fowey
Formerly a B&B, Wellingtons is situated in the popular waterside town of Fowey. Due to social distancing our business is now room only, there is still use of communal area down stairs as long as people are respectful of current laws and guidelines . Tea and coffee making in all rooms and biscuits supplied too! We have also closed two of our rooms, to ensure that the remaining two suites allow for proper social distancing. WE ARE CURRENTLY ROOM ONLY BUT THERE ARE COLD SOFT DRINKS AVAILABLE, FRESH MILK, TEA AND COFFEE AND BISCUITS AND WE ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING BOOKINGS FROM FAMILIES WHO HAVE THE WHOLE B&B TO THEMSELVES WNICH IS TOTALLY SELF CONTAINED. Situated in an elevated position just a few minutes walk from the town centre. It's location, in a peaceful, residential setting, benefits from panoramic views at the rear over the stunning Cornish countryside.

What an amazing place!Stayed for four days last week and couldn't fault it.Ben and Michaela we fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us .The rooms were spacious with very comfy beds and they were spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast in the guest dining room/lounge was much more than we expected with fresh fruit ,yogurts and croissants. The lounge was a real bonus with board games and magazines .The front garden for guests was very private and the free parking outside the B&B saved us lots of daily charges .What made our stay though was the real friendly and homely feel provides by the lovely hosts.A******

An excellent find about 10 minutes walk into Fowey. No parking issues or pay to park here. Plenty of space right outside. Really warm welcome from Michealla and Ben. Beer & a G+T. Very comfortable room - Spotlessly clean. Good continental breakfast - porridge, croissants , rolls, fruit, yogurt & cheeses. Nothing too much trouble and would stay again. Very covid aware & safe.

I can only reiterate all the other positive comments made. This place is just wonderful, not only is it a beautiful home with stunning rooms, but the hosts Ben and Michaela are just so welcoming and hospitable, felt like we’d known them for years. We stayed in the Rebecca room which had wonderful views, only wish we could have stayed longer than one night. If we ever visited Fowey again, then we would definitely stay here and I would absolutely recommend Wellingtons. Clare & Richard

Just spent two nights at Wellingtons. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel/ guest house. We stayed in the De Maurier room which was comfort personified with en suite facilities. With cleanliness being paramount in these Covid times, the whole place was kept spotless by our hosts. Speaking of our hosts, I can honestly say I have never felt more welcome than at Wellingtons. Add in a superb Breakfast and what more could you want. 11/10 on all fronts. Definitely recommended.

Just returned from a two night stay here where Ben and Michaela really did everything they could to make our stay a great one. Room was really comfortable and pleasant and only a ten minute walk into the centre of fowey. From reading other reviews, it seems the Du Maurier room is the one to stay in as it has an ensuite. We stayed in Rachel one, which had a shared bathroom directly across the hall (my error), but it didn't cause us any problems. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked each morning. All in all a lovely stay.
