Due to social distancing our business is now room only, there is still use of communal area down stairs as long as people are respectful of current laws and guidelines . Tea and coffee making in all rooms and biscuits supplied too! We have also closed two of our rooms, to ensure that the remaining two suites allow for proper social distancing. WE ARE CURRENTLY ROOM ONLY BUT THERE ARE COLD SOFT DRINKS AVAILABLE, FRESH MILK, TEA AND COFFEE AND BISCUITS AND WE ARE CURRENTLY RECEIVING BOOKINGS FROM FAMILIES WHO HAVE THE WHOLE B&B TO THEMSELVES WNICH IS TOTALLY SELF CONTAINED. Situated in an elevated position just a few minutes walk from the town centre. It's location, in a peaceful, residential setting, benefits from panoramic views at the rear over the stunning Cornish countryside.

We have been travelling Cornwall for 2 weeks and Wellingtons was by far the best B&B we stayed in. Starting with the welcome when we arrived and were greeted with a perfectly chilled glass of white wine which we drank on a small sun drenched patio.
Our room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable with a lovely view across the Cornish countryside.
Breakfast was delicious with good coffee, always important to me!
Our hosts , Ben and Michaela, had lots of helpful advice about local walks and where to eat.
Covid security was impressive with clear, high standards which made us feel safe without being oppressive or dictatorial.
Would highly recommend staying at Wellingtons.

Just spent two nights at Wellingtons. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel/ guest house. We stayed in the De Maurier room which was comfort personified with en suite facilities. With cleanliness being paramount in these Covid times, the whole place was kept spotless by our hosts. Speaking of our hosts, I can honestly say I have never felt more welcome than at Wellingtons. Add in a superb Breakfast and what more could you want. 11/10 on all fronts. Definitely recommended.

Ah, we had the most amazing time here! Our son Ed and his partner Beth had stayed previously, with one of our dogs, and they loved it! They were so keen for us to visit, so we did just that, along with Cera and Faith, our two dogs. And I'm so glad we did! We love Cornwall, we've been enjoying holidays here for 40+ years. We know Fowey quite well too. Ben and Michaela made us and our dogs so very welcome. We were greeted warmly, and enjoyed a glass of wine as we settled in. The rooms were just perfect! Beautifully presented, cosy, bright, and with everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable break by the sea. Ben and Michaela love dogs, they have gorgeous dogs of their own too. The whole property is beautifully decorated, and Ben's Spotify playlists are awesome. Breakfast was mega! We ordered each evening, and were presented with a feast, catering for two vegans and two omnivores! Breakfast really set us up for the day, and our days were spent walking, exploring Readymoney Beach and the surrounding areas. The house is a mere 10 minutes walk from the centre of Fowey. We were there the weekend of storm Eunice, so we enjoyed bracing walks! Can't fault this wonderful place, and we hope to revisit soon. Thanks Ben and Michaela!

I can only reiterate all the other positive comments made. This place is just wonderful, not only is it a beautiful home with stunning rooms, but the hosts Ben and Michaela are just so welcoming and hospitable, felt like we’d known them for years.

We stayed in the Rebecca room which had wonderful views, only wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

If we ever visited Fowey again, then we would definitely stay here and I would absolutely recommend Wellingtons.

We spent 2 nights at Wellingtons at the end of an 8 night road trip around Cornwall and it was a wonderful end to our holiday.

As others have mentioned, Michaela and Ben are very warm and friendly hosts, we were made to feel very welcome in their home.

We stayed in the Rebecca room which was lovely and light and airy with countryside views. Immaculately clean. Very quiet and probably the best sleep we had during our holiday.

Yes its a short walk to the harbour, but this is offset by bonus of the free parking and quiet location and was not a problem for us at all.

When booking we were made aware that there is currently no cooked breakfast being offered due to the current situation and so we were not expecting anything at all, so the continental breakfast we received was a lovely surprise.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay (despite the weather!) and hope to return to see Wellington and co again in the future :)

An excellent find about 10 minutes walk into Fowey. No parking issues or pay to park here. Plenty of space right outside. Really warm welcome from Michealla and Ben. Beer & a G+T. Very comfortable room - Spotlessly clean. Good continental breakfast - porridge, croissants , rolls, fruit, yogurt & cheeses. Nothing too much trouble and would stay again. Very covid aware & safe.

Arrived for a 3 night stay and instantly got on so well with hosts Ben and Michaela, they made us feel at home straight away. The B an B is in a lovely quiet location which is a few minutes walk from Fowey centre. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and we didn't feel hungry again until the evening !! We were really well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn't hesitate to return to Wellingtons in the future.
A great B and B run by a genuinely friendly and lovely couple, many thanks Ben and Michaela !!

This was an excellent B&B. Everything was quality. From the food at breakfast, to the ‘tea tray’ in the bedroom, to the welcome drinks and local information given. Yes it is out of Fowey town centre and it is a steep climb up but actually it really isn’t as bad as you think it’s going to be! We very much enjoyed Fowey and Wellingtons.

We have just returned from a lovely 4 night break at Wellingtons guest house in Fowey. We booked to go in regatta week as we have friends there, we were not disappointed. We had the Du maurier room which was lovely, a very comfortable bed and great en suite bathroom. Michaela and Ben the hosts made us very welcome, gave us lots of local information regarding walks etc. The breakfast was also excellent with lots of choices all freshly cooked to order and a lovely selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals. We shall definitely return, thank you so much.

3 night stay during Fowey festival while on road trip. Took the opportunity to walk local sections of South West Coast Path so walk from town to Wellingtons at the top of the hill was not too daunting. Outlook over fields was a pleasant contrast to the estuary and channel views on our walks. Highly recommend the accommodation and cannot overstate how pleasant and helpful Ben and Michaela were. Nothing was too much trouble.
