Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My son and his now wife celebrated their marriage at Tredudwell Manor. What can I say that hasn't already been said in other reviews? The whole venue, house, grounds and reception hall where just perfect, they had even arranged for the sun to shine all day for us! Bedrooms where large and spotlessly clean and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful to get the day started Justin, Hayley and team where amazing in all aspects,at one point going above and beyond what they should have to do! I think I could go on and on singing Tredudwell's praises and probably run out of superlatives.I To summarise, don't think about it, book it! Thank you

We held our wedding here in October and it was magical! Thank you to the team at Tredudwell for all their support and help in organising our day, Justin, Valerie and Hayley were all brilliant at helping us achieve what we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting that Tredudwell Manor, it catered to all our family and friends through the day and evening perfectly and the house, pavilion and grounds are so beautiful it made our big day truly special. The manor itself is also perfect as a B&B with wonderfully comfortable rooms, delicious home cooked breakfasts and cosy sitting room with honesty bar. Fabulous from start to finish, thank you Tredudwell team!

We stayed as a family at Tredudwell Manor while celebrating our wedding. The team could not have been more helpeful from start to finish; from extra beds and early breakfasts to hiding my wedding dress and sorting the logistics to prevent the Bridegroom seeing his Bride! In terms of the Wedding Venue, from the moment we arrived at Tredudwell on a wet and windy day in November 2018 we knew that this was where we wanted to get married. Tredudwell is clearly Valerie and Justin’s pride and joy; their enthusiasm and knowledge leaves you feeling in very safe hands. The setting is so beautiful that it speaks for itself but every little detail has been planned to perfection and makes planning your perfect wedding so easy as it really is a stunning, blank canvas to work with. Less than a year after first discovering Tredudwell, we woke to a gloriously sunny July day and enjoyed the perfect wedding. The day went without a hitch and was exactly the relaxed day we had planned for; an outdoor ceremony with amazing views, welcome drinks on the terrace, a lovely meal enjoyed in the Pavilion and a relaxed afternoon enjoying lawn games and Space Hopper races in the beautiful grounds before dancing the night away and enjoying a Mexican Feast later!

We were invited to a wedding at Tredudwell Manor in August 2019 and we had the most amazing time. Tredudwell Manor is set amongst some beautiful grounds - and there are so many places to take breathtaking photographs, too! The grounds are lovely and clean and it is such a stunning place to visit. The Manor is located off-road and the road, at times, is narrow and twisty for quite a few miles. There is ample parking at the Manor which is great. The Manor has a beautiful exterior wedding arch where we watched our friends get married in the most picturesque setting. The indoor hall was spotlessly clean and very roomy, too. The toilets were clean and well looked after during our 12 hour stay. We really enjoyed visiting Tredudwell Manor and thoroughly recommend this venue.

A truly hidden gem in Cornwall. Versatile converted barn, extendable for bigger groups, serviced with extensive bar and catering kitchens, normally accommodates wedding receptions and similar events & made a great venue for a charity dinner and dance. Terrace views down across manicured lawns, beyond the outdoor lakeside gazebo (popular for nuptials in fine weather) and beyond to sea glimpses. At night and under moonlight the manor and gardens artistically lit and creates an ethereal atmosphere. Check into one of the exquisite rooms in the house for an overnight stay. (some of the rooms interlink and are furnished for wedding party members to have private use of space the day before and on the wedding day/night). Attic room 8 has the added fun of “duck or grouse” to dodge the beams. Sunrise through the sash windows and skylight can be blacked out with shutters and blinds, but are lovely for natural early birds like me. Modern en suite, spotlessly clean, deeply comfy mattress and pillows in crisp white cotton. Around the house, an honesty bar, a traditional breakfast dining room with walls adorned with traditional paintings where you will be served cooked breakfast to your liking. Visit the top floor to borrow a good book from the mini library during your stay. This is a period house with little/no access for those unable to manage steps/stairs/narrow doors etc however the car park, the modern refurbished barns, some of the gardens and wc’s serving the event venue are accessible.

We just had our wedding here last weekend and I had to write a review, as it was the most incredibly beautiful manor and grounds to hold such a special day for us. We love Cornwall and as soon as we saw this place we fell in love. It’s been in the Shakerley’s family for a very long time. They have renovated it and still more they are planning to do. We stayed 3 nights and then took over the whole house and grounds for the weekend of the wedding with family and friends. We were lucky enough with bright sunshine and warmth that we could get married outside under the temple. It was so magical to us I can’t describe. The team there run it so effortlessly and smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were well organised, kind, thoughtful, generous and so friendly. Slept like logs and breakfast was sensational. The day went without any issues and was the best day of our lives. We cannot wait to visit again and see the team, Valerie, Justin, Hayley and Becky just to mention a few. Cows were mooing, house martins flying and Canada geese on the pond, including bats at night and birds of prey hovering for their prey. It honestly is just magical and will stay in our hearts forever. I cannot tell you how special this place is to us Thank you Tredudwell and see you very soon and our family will be visiting also :), they were awestruck just like us x

I have just spent 3 days in this charming manor. The location is beautiful, the manor is set in its own grounds with views of the sea. The rooms are in keeping with the age of the house yet modern with the degree of comfort. Breakfast is an occasion served in the old dining room surrounded by family portraits. Service is faultless. If you just want to escape and enjoy tranquility look no further.

We were invited to a wedding at this venue and had an absolutely wonderful time. Venue was/is amazing and the whole experience was wonderful. Barbecued food was cooked to perfection and served with some lovely salads. Can't think of anything bad to say. Everywhere we went was spotless and staff was exceptional. Truly highly recommended a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Delightful elegant manor in beautiful grounds just minutes from Polruan. Justin and Valérie are the owners who work very hard to make the experience first class. Lovely rooms and spacious elegant lounge to relax. Breakfast is superb, made from local produce. Ideal for anyone who enjoys coastal walks and a bit of luxury on their return.
