We are a family run, dedicated wedding venue in a farmland setting within easy reach of Dereham and Norwich but hidden away in the Norfolk countryside. Fully licensed for civil ceremonies, Hunters Hall offers the perfect setting for your wedding and reception. One word to start off with, ‘FAULTLESS’ Matthew and his team were amazing! They were always there, giving us smiles and making sure nothing else was needed, they couldn’t do enough for us. Let’s start with Shirley, giving us our brekkie on the morning on the wedding, asking how we slept and how we were feeling. Especially the bride. Nothing was too much trouble! Next Matthew, he made the day go smoothly, alongside his sidekick Rebecca. But I’ll talk about her later. Matthew was there from start to finish on the big day. He gave us our cues to walk down that aisle to announcing my sister is finally a Potter! But I’ll never forget him saying to me ‘SLOWER’ down that aisle! Back to Rebecca, she made me feel so at ease straight away, the first to walk down is nerve racking and talking to me before heading over there really helped me. She also did an amazing job of ‘poofing’ my sisters dress. The venue itself is stunning, but the staff make it more amazing, the special touches they do make the day more special. The evening team was amazing, attentive and looked after us incredibly! Food was lovely, drinks amazing! Couldn’t of asked for anything more! I just want to say a massive thank you for making my sister and brother in laws wedding weekend the best it could be! You all were amazing from start to finish! …

I would not hesitate in recommending Hunters Hall for your wedding and/or Reception. The attention to detail that was given for my Daughter and Son-in-Laws Wedding was second to none. From the moment we arrived to the time of leaving nothing was to much trouble. The whole place is reserved for you and your wedding party, which was a big plus for us. The food served for the Wedding Breakfast was perfect, arrived hot and well presented. We had many of our guests saying that the venue, food and everything about the day was lovely. Matthew was on hand all day to make sure everything went to plan. He could not do enough for you. Myself and my daughters stayed the night before the Wedding and Matthew kindly popped over and gave us a bottle of bubbly to start off our celebrations. Also the morning after he saw my dad sitting chilling before breakfast and came over with a cup of coffee for him. It was the small tokens that made a big difference to us. …

My son and his wife booked this venue for their wedding and they couldn’t have chosen better. The whole weekend was just perfect! The venue is very flexible in terms of the space, so you can choose different rooms for different needs (such as the ceremony itself, the wedding breakfast, evening disco etc) depending on the size of your party. The wedding breakfast was absolutely flawless. Everyone said how delicious and perfectly cooked it was. The food was piping hot and service was very well organised so that everyone was served promptly. The attention to detail was very good without being too intrusive, well done to the waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and they were all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Matthew especially went out of his way to ensure that the less able members of the party were seated before the ‘mad rush’ for food. The venue is perfect for weddings as there are plenty of inside and outside areas for photos of the happy couple. it is fully accessible with level access to the main areas and disabled toilets. Several of us stayed the night before as well as the night of the wedding. The rooms are very well equipped (usual tea tray, and also iron, ironing board, fan, hairdryer etc). I only drink decaf but the staff were happy to provide extra decaf teabags on request. I stayed in the Calf Room which has a wet room. However I think if you’re a wheelchair user you would still struggle as there’s a small step going into the room and not much turning space inside. Perfect for someone who just needs a downstairs room though. Breakfast was lovely! Really good quality ingredients cooked to order and very tasty! As well as the full English, there were a selection of cereals, juice, yoghurt and fruit as well as pastries. All in all it was a fantastic weekend and I’ll treasure the memories forever.…

My Son got married here at Easter. The organisation was amazing , efficient and extremely professional. The location perfect, the function rooms perfect, the food was seriously delicious and the accomodation very comfortable. I highly recommend Hunters Hall for any function but especially a wedding. We got married here a couple of weeks ago and we honestly cannot fault it. The venue is stunning and speaks for itself but the hosts and staff were incredible. We had the best wedding ever and that is mostly down to Hunters Hall. We had so many compliments about the venue and the stuff and loads of compliments about the food. The Perfect Wedding Venue, Our Perfect Day! We cannot thank Matthew and the entire team at Hunters Hall enough for making our special day a truly magical one. ✨️ All our guests were blown away by the beauty and look of the venue, which translated into some breathtaking photographs. With our photographers commenting that it made their job incredibly easy. Special thanks to Shirley, Louainne and the team who could not have been more attentive throughout the day / night and in the run up to the wedding. The food was delicious and the chef's catered for all dietary requirements. Even when some gluten free options were needed on the day. Hunters Hall were very happy to work and liaise with our florist La Belle, Epic Event Hire who organised our fairy lights and Simply Chic, who dealt with Love Lettering and chair decorations. We took advantage of the outstanding accomodation with a fairly intimate ceremony. So we were very fortunate that our day guests could all stay at the venue. If you want a venue that will host your dream wedding, where the service is faultless, from planning to delivery and the look is stunning then look no further than Hunters Hall. We got Married at Hunters Hall back in March 2022 and honestly could not fault the venue, Matthew and Jenny or any of the staff. We were originally due to Marry in 2021 but delayed due to Covid and the team were incredibly supportive of this. Nothing was too much trouble. They put us at ease with the whole wedding planning process, always easy to get hold off when you needed them. When it came to the big day, everything ran so smoothly and we had so many guests comment and how good the team were. Thank you so much for making our day perfect. Mr and Mrs Carter.

My wife and I got married at hunters hall in October 22 and to say the day was perfect is an understatement. The first time we saw the venue we fell in love with it. Jenny & Mathew (the owners) were absolutely fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. The staff were equally fantastic looking after my wife, myself and our guests. The food was a very high quality and everyone was very happy! I would like to thank everyone at hunters hall for the perfect day. Highly recommended.

My husband and I got married at Hunters Hall last month and to say it was the most amazing day would be an understatement. From the moment we viewed Hunters, we fell in love, not just with the character and beauty of the venue but the warmth of the staff. Nothing was ever to much for any of the staff and they were more than happy to help when and where they could. Matthew, if Hunters didn’t sell itself he certainly sells it. On our viewing day he made us both feel so welcomed and so comfortable and after viewing was more than happy to sit and discuss what we wanted and what hunters were able to do. We were so sure of our decision we booked the next morning. Louanne and Laura, two wonderful ladies who keep you in the loop through the whole planning process. There was never a stupid question. Both of them genuinely care about making your day special and are brilliant and putting your mind at ease. They are absolutely awesome and we’re so grateful and so beyond thankful that they were part of our special day. Shirley, was such a warm and welcoming face on the day of our drop off appointment. Both of us had felt the start of the nerves and she made sure to go through everything with us and make sure we understood that they had everything sorted. Her, along with the other staff, made the venue look absolutely beautiful for our day. It was even better than we could have imagined. The chef and kitchen staff, the food was absolutely delicious! The dessert trio is to die for. All staff we’ve missed (not intentionally) these guys genuinely make this place the most incredible, warm and special venue.
