If you have somehow missed every other review of this place then i'll reiterate their points by my own experience....... I turned up late and was met by a full bin, dirty bedding and a soaking towel which made it clear that this room had not even been entered by a cleaner since the last person stayed. With exactly 0...

To be fair I fear people have been slightly critical of the place failing to realise a simple fact of life you do get what you pay for. The room was clean and warm. I could hear neighbours till early hours shouting which is of no fault of the hotels I guess. Sadly the lack of staff does make it...

It's not everyday that you arrive at your Accommodation late at night after a long drive only to find on entering your room that it was occupied by drug smoking squatters!!!! Well this was our experience last Saturday night at MJB 'Hotels' Hill House Hotel in Dereham, Norfolk. We arrived to find the building in poor condition and to be...

I know you get what you pay for but this was a real shock. We walked directly into the room from outside and were met with a cold tiled floor in the bedroom. The bedding was stained and bobbly. The 'ensuite' was dirty with a stained toilet, missing bits off the sink taps and a shower that sprayed anywhere but...

Everywhere else was fully booked so I had no choice but to book here. I thought it couldn't be as bad as the reviews but it's worse! Dirty rooms, dirty bathroom, the room feels damp and the heating doesn't work. Entry system uses a code and we were stuck outside because it's temperamental and doesn't always work. We desperately tried...

I'm currently at this hotel and we're in room 18 , which is a mini suite , downstairs there's a kettle , nice sized tv and a couple of chairs and smallish wardrobe . I wanted a cheap stopover for just one night and this was cheaper than camping and saved us the hassle of having of packing up all...

I would definitely not recommend this hotel unless you are totally out of options. It is more like a basic youth hostel. Hotel is not the correct word to use. The room was clean-ish, but was less than basic. A bed on a mezzanine floor with no bedside tables. The duvet cover had a few stains on it but the...

Hill house hotel was the most comfortable place we have stayed in a long time, we really cannot believe all the bad reviews we have read, when we have had such a lovely stay. (Just make sure you reserve a parking spot and then you are all sorted) We stayed in room 22 and it was a nice set up....
