Most things about this guest house are positive, near to lots of local amenities, parking available for four cars, decorated well, breakfast included, very clean and no one breathing down your neck, you come and go as you please. It’s also useful to advise that there is no one on site overnight.

Great Bed and Breakfast, comfortable beds along with many touches to make you feel very welcome! We stayed with a 9 and 5yo after a late booking to make the most of the late summer heat. The family room in the converted loft even had A/C which was well needed with the 30degree heat. Enjoyable breakfast and great choice, would definitely recommend if you’re looking to explore Christchurch and surrounding areas. Thank you.

We stayed here for two nights for a weekend away. The first night we stayed in Room 1, which was very compact and also a little noisy from traffic just outside. As the bathroom door didn’t close properly, Yas kindly moved us to Room 4 for the second night of our stay - this was really spacious, with a huge bathroom and walk in shower and separate tub. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Lovely friendly staff. Great location for getting to the New Forest and coast - we enjoyed our stay!

The room was very clean and comfortable with the towels changed everyday. Breakfasts were delicious with a good choice of food. Staff very friendly and enjoyed my stay of 7 nights. It is 15 minutes walk from the town centre where there are a good choice of restaurants.

This hotel provides contactless check in, presumably a continuation from covid guidelines. On arrival, my colleague and I were greeted with individual mini bags with our names on that had our key, some information and a little cake - it was a lovely personal touch. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated, but the best part of the experience was the breakfast. My colleague had the smoked salmon which she really enjoyed, and I am one of those awkward customers with a load of allergies. When I explained that I could not have milk, the young girl serving us was so inclusive and brought out a selection of cereals so that I could check the ingredients. She also brought out a berry compote which she explained was just fruit and sugar which would be safe, and the whole carton of soya milk to my table. I am writing this review two months after my stay, and it was a very memorable stay for me due to this great experience. I stay in a lot of hotels for both work and leisure and it is very rare for me to experience such inclusivity and care so I was very impressed. 5/5 - would absolutely recommend. …

We stayed two nights in room 6 at the back. Small room but we asked for quiet and it was. The bed was comfortable and room clean, missing two lightbulbs and the radiator leaked a bit in the bathroom . Great breakfast good choice of dishes with great quality ingredients. Friendly staff very helpful. The only dislike was it was COLD both in the room and breakfast room. Would stay again when weather gets warmer!

We were looking for a nice couple of nights accommodation while were in the area for our Sons wedding. Grosvenor Lodge looked to be just the ticket so we booked. On arrival the self service check in was so easy and the general feel for the place gave a great first impression. The room itself was first class, clean, well maintained and so comfortable! Breakfast was a treat and the staff were attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. When we came to leave I enquired about a taxi to go and collect my car, Jodie was kind enough to arrange for a colleague to take me on his way home. Service over and above the norm. I can't recommend Grosvenor Lodge enough.
