Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After enjoying our holiday here at Meadowbank last year we decided to bring mum here for a much needed break This year we booked into a gold plus caravan on Row E no8 . We found it did have more space than the normal gold with the kitchen being bigger and the master room having a ensuite toilet ... Meadowbank is a good a good place for visiting Bournemouth and Poole also Mudford Quay is great for getting some fresh fish . We had a lovely drive through the new forest and saw loads of ponies abd had a coffee at Lyndhurst . Just curious why the shop only opened until 11 during the week maybe because it was low season but we never got the chance to look around Anyway we all had a great time Thanks again Meadowbank for a lovely and comfortable stay ..

Lovely well kept friendly site. Shop on site was well stocked with essential items and treats. Wi fi worked despite atrocious weather. Mobile home spotless with option to sit outside on the balcony (in better weather!).

We first discovered Meadowbank several years ago and have been holidaying there ever since. It is a very well maintained clean and tidy site with lovely floral displays in hanging baskets and tubs. It is a friendly and relaxing place to stay and the customer service is excellent The reception/ booking staff really do “ go the extra mile” to ensure that your requirements are met. We have always found the caravans to be spotless on arrival, and what a nice touch is the bottle of bubbly waiting for you in the fridge Gerald A

The caravan was immaculate. The caravan park is kept nice and tidy. There is a small general store on site which is open 7 days a week. A mobile fish and chip shop calls once a week usually on a Thursday about 17.00.

We have been having holidays here for 39 years and 2023 will be our 40th. So I think this says it all. Fantastic holiday park, great staff and loads to do. Hengisbury Head, Bournemouth, Salisbury,Mudford, sandpit,Tuckton Bridge and much more. The park is always pristine , and there are flowers everywhere along with a koi carp pond. Caravans are sparking clean and very well kept for visitors.

Recently came back from spending a week at Meadowbank. Fantastic friendly, relaxed and well-maintained site with easy access from the A338. We stayed in our motorhome on a fully serviced pitch with our teenage sons. Michelle in reception was very friendly and helpful, both on arrival, and earlier when adding an extra day to our stay. The toilet facilities were modern and always clean, with lovely hot and easy to use showers. In the ladies there was also a toilet cubicle with a sink, and a bath cubicle with a sink which would be useful for young families. There was also a separate disabled toilet/shower room. The holiday caravans looked very appealing and we thought it would be an ideal campsite for motorhomers/caravanners to holiday with non-touring relatives/friends. Excellent location with frequent bus services close by to get to Christchurch and Bournemouth. My husband bought group bus tickets via the Morebus app, which was good value and straightforward. Christchurch is also walkable (about 40 minutes) and a similar distance to Southbourne high street with bars and restaurants and Southbourne beach. There are also bikes and e-scooters available to hire on nearby roads using the Beryl app. We had stone-baked pizza on Friday night, and saw there was a fish and chip van on another day. The site shop was well stocked plus convenience stores nearby. Nice to be by the river from where you can walk along the Stour Valley Way, we were pleased to see two Kingfishers! Tuckton also close by where there is a lovely café and boat trips to Mudeford, as well as boats to hire. Plenty of other great places to visit such as the New Forest (perfect for cycling – either to take or hire bikes), Hengistbury Head, Lymington, and further afield Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle and Swanage. If going to Hengistbury Head in a motorhome, a good option is to park in the large car park at Mudeford Quay which has suitable spaces, and then crossing on the short foot ferry (the Hengistbury Head carpark has a height barrier). All in all a great holiday destination for variety of places to visit/things to do, whilst also lovely to just chill out on the site. Would have loved to stay longer. Thoroughly recommend!

We had a very nice time visiting our friends herd last weekend and impressed with the how well this holiday place is kept. Lovely koi fish pond at the entrance after the visitor’s car park. Nice landscaping and clean with an accessible side of the Stour River where fishing is allowed but you’ll have to release them back into the river humanely. There’s benches along the river bank for relaxation or just bring a picnic blanket or folding chairs. All visitors are on resident’s invitation only with permission from management to enter. We had a lovely afternoon of tea and enjoyed the surroundings.
