I treated my fiancé to a night here last month, which included, room, contribution to dinner and breakfast for 300 pounds. We live just round the corner but love the venue and ambience so much I decided to stay for a night. They reserved a car parking space for me, which is essential as parking is limited. I ordered champagne...

We were married at the Captains club this year and I have to say it was the most amazing day ever, not only because I was marrying the girl of my dreams but the venue and organization was amazing, I don't think you will find a more helpful, well organized hotel to get married in, we had an exclusive wedding...

Stayed one night on dbb in a suite for our anniversary. Our suite was huge!, I could live in it, with a lovely view over the river. Took advantage of the spa and had a lovely relaxing massage. It was nice that you could take back stairs to the spa in your dressing gown. Young bar staff were attentive and...

Luxury, comfortable room, friendly staff, nice, relaxing, friendly atmosphere: a great place to stay if you are visiting Christchurch! Handling bathroom sink is a bit confusing for a non-Englander and regular mobile telephone coverage is sporadic, but this isn't the hotel's fault

Stayed 2 nights, this is a very trendy, lifestyle hotel which feels like a cruise ship without the choppy sea! We had a couple of housekeeping issues the first night with our first junior suite however Julia the Customer Services Manager upgraded us next day to the newly refurbished Hulsta Suite, which was absolutely fabulous, in fact we would have...

Stayed here for two nights on the November deal providing bed, breakfast and evening meal. We were very impressed with this hotel. We had a very warm welcome on arrival, with a nice swift check in. We were then escorted to our room. The room was very nice, spacious with the modern touches that my husband and I like. The...

Decided to have a night away and found 'The Captains Club Hotel' in a list of 'Dog Friendly' Hotels. Looked lovely and the reviews were glowing. Turned up and we're greeted with a big friendly smile and very quickly were taken up to our room. Dog friendly rooms are HUGE... We have a massive lounge, kitchen, dining area, double bedroom,...

I stayed for three nights in mid November. Very comfortable room, good boutique hotel ambiance and lovely food, excellent quality. Impeccable service. Very impressed. The location was attractive, overlooking the river, and it's near to the town centre but quiet.

Well what can I say!!! This is a mixed review which is a shame because really out of everywhere I have eaten this year this certainly is up there with the best of them!! However, the rest of my party did not agree that the steak was cooked as requested and a bit chewy but the overall presentation of the...

Well we have been regular captains club visitors for a long time now however it's been about 6 or 7 months since our last visit and it appears to have gone downhill lately! The food was not the same standard as previous visits and The atmosphere has changed and doesn't feel as exclusive or classy as it used to and...
