Myself and three friends including my dog stand stayed at the lodge over the weekend. It is like a new house very clean and beautiful decorated. Excellent accommodation including a welcome pack with all the essentials. Rita met us at the lodge and explained everything and also supplied all directions and the best places to eat in Callander. We all...

Great B&B with great owners despite the inconvenience with the bathroom key, sorry again for this. The bracklinn falls is a beautiful place to visit and callander is a charming city with a good italian restaurant. I recommended this to my friends 😄

We booked one night at the beautifully refurbished Lodge. It's a listed building, 300 years old and has been restored to a high standard and decorated throughout to interior designer standards. We booked this cottage as a half way stop between the Highlands and home and were warmly welcomed by Rita on our arrival. Despite arriving early the Lodge was...

The B and B is set in some stunning countryside. Wonderful walk from the farmhouse to bracklin falls. The town centre is about 1.5 miles which we found walkable. There is also a path ( albeit dark) that you can take. Reasonable choice of dinner options. The local curry house in the centre of town getting our vote. B and...

Room was large, stylishly-decorated, and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and I slept easily all night. Bathroom was private, but not ensuite, but it was clean, well-provisioned, and the best shower I've had in Britain. It's a little ways out in the country, which is what I wanted, but even without a car, it was an easy, short to walk...

I am surprised by the many positive reviews of this property and the 4 Star rating given to it by the Scottish Tourist Advisory. This b & b is in a good location in Callander. You are surrounded by beautiful fields and greenery and there is a beautiful path out of the backyard leading to the town. The innkeeper helped...

This stay was disappointing. The location was convenient for exploring the area and to visit Stirling, however, the smell, ?sewer, was so strong we spent as little time in the room as possible. There was over use of air fresheners so those with scent allergies beware. Our room had an odd sliding door for the bathroom which did not afford...

Callander was not on our scheduled itinerary but we were told that it was a good destination before Stirling and on the way back to Edinburgh. We were delighted to find the Auchenlaich Farmhouse with it's hostess Rita. She was very welcoming and gave us a downstairs bedroom with ensuite bath. We ate a very good salmon dinner cooked by...
