I have to say I am massively impressed with this place. The Lodge is perfect warm. And cozy with superb views all round, good access from. The road a small car park. Close to the lodge and the staff are so friendly. We came for a party at a relatives house nearby with 5 of us traveling from Manchester. Very easy to find and Alan was so pleasent when we arrived making us aware of everything we needed. WiFi is included and has a decent signal even though its quite rural. The cabin looks stuning and the living room sofas are really comfy. The double bedroom is extreamly comfy with a vanity sink in and the twin was also very Co. Fy and plenty of room for two adults. The sofa bed is OK but as with most sofa beds not as comfy as a bed but more than adequate. The kitchen has everything we needed I clouding fridge cooker with grill washing machine and dish washer. There is a kids activity area to the rear and the bathroom has a huge bath and shower which was surprising. I can't say enough good thingd the whole experience was superb from. Start to finish and non of us wanted to leave. …
We stayed in the lodges. They were very clean and comfortable. WiFi is a bit patchy and the lighting in the lodges could be improved. Other than that they are very well equipped. The location is lovely and close to a pretty small town with supermarkets and small shops. Plenty of places to eat in the area too.
We had a lovely stay in one of the Leny Estate lodges. We were welcomed by Alan, the Estate Manager, and shown into our lodge. It was a little chillly, but soon heated up and stayed warm and cosy. The lodge was well appointed with a well equipt kitchen with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge with a small freezer compartment and dishwasher; nice Denby crockery too. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding very good quality. The only things that would be have been useful to have had was a bar of soap at the bedroom sink as well as in the bathroom and an ice cube tray (for the g&t....). Shower gel/ shampoo are not provided so guests should remember to take some. Lovely quiet location; the driveway is half a mile long and is unlit, so the torch was useful. Walking to the centre of town took us 17 minutes. …
My partner and I stayed at Leny Estate with our friends and family for a few days over our wedding. We booked out the entire estate. All of the accommodation was brilliant - we were in the North Wing, a very comfortable, clean and spacious place to stay. The lodges were highly rated by our friends and the cottages and Leny Lodge were also excellent. The views are stunning and it is a lovely place to be and so close to Callander. Alan was absolutely brilliant at helping us organise our stay and was always easy to contact and very friendly. We highly recommend staying here.
We had an absolutely brilliant time at the cabins which we had booked all of them out at one time. As we were very lucky with the weather over the weekend we spent all our time outside, and the playpark was a big hit for all kids between the ages 2-12. The verandas were excellent for socialising and the fixed seating was great for outside dining. The cabin itself was clean and spacious. From a personal point of view it would have been handy to have access to the park from both ends/behind each cabin but actually it kept the kids well contained when they had to come back past the front of the cabins. The various seating options next to the park were very handy as well to congregate.
