Detailed Reviews
Had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in this lovey estate in the Campbell lodge. The lodge had everything you need for a few days stay the beds are comfortable the kitchen is well stocked with plates/glasses/utensils etc and the lounge has 2 comfy leather couches. What we loved was the silence you could hear a pin drop! We met Barry the estate manager on our first day and he gave us some great advice on where to eat and places to visit during our stay. We walked in to Callendar a few times which took 20mins. The only issue we had was the smoke alarms going off at 4am which gave us a fright!! All in all this is a fab location and has everything you need for a few days away we would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

+1
5* review for our accommodation, Leny Lodge.
Warm seamless arrival, with Katie ensuring we had everything we needed.
The Lodge is spacious and clean with everything we required.
Excellent bed linen and towels (always a must for me)
We had great weather and made use of the outdoor BBQ and endless supply of logs.
Would highly recommend Leny Estate
Some road noise as the Lodge is quite literally the gate house but this didn’t spoil our stay
Well done guys!!!

We recently stayed in the loge cabins with all our family spread across 4 of the cabins. The manager and housekeeper where really good with us and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with a personal problem that we encountered. They helped take the stress away so that we could get married nearby and have the stress free and special day that we wanted. All our family enjoyed our stay and even loved seeing the deers and pheasants wandering around the cabins. There was plenty space for us all, clean accommodation and we had plenty towels and bedding for all. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Pretty chalet in a very quiet environment close to nature. Complete equipment but major problems with WiFi and, above all, thermal insulation. We were very cold during our stay at the end of July and despite very pleasant weather.
Convenient access via key box.
We regret not having waste sorting and composter.
Location-wise, it's very close to Callander where you can find various shops, supermarkets, restaurants, etc... Easy access to visit the Trossachs and Loch Lomond as well as Stirling.

I stayed in the North Wing at Leny Estate. It was absolutely beautiful from the surroundings, the wood panelled reception area with blazing wood burning at stove to the luxurious bedrooms with four poster beds. I would highly recommend it as a 'get away from I it all' relax in he lap luxury break.

What a magic place to stay. The only accommodation we have ever stayed in with our friends where both couples get the best room, 2 beautiful four poster ensuite bedrooms. One at each end of the house, what luxury and privacy!!! Everything we needed was in this well equipped beautiful stately home. 25 min walk takes you into Callander and 18 min walk takes you to the local pub at the Lade Inn, where meals are served 7 days a week at lunch time and in the evenings till 9pm. Can't wait to come back.

A perfect say, we will becoming back here I'm sure. Yes it has a main road near it but unless you need to sleep with the window open then it's not an issue. The log burner is brilliant, it's well stocked, the place is never cold. It's perfectly positioned near walks and bike tracks, and a 2 minute walk from a town with shops, places to eat and the essentials. As for the lodge, all the mod cons, TV, Dishwasher, Washing machine, electric hob and oven. I'd recommend it to anybody who wants a comfortable place to relax and use as a base for activities.

Our stay at Leny Estate Lodges in August was somewhat disappointing. Having booked through Premier Holiday Cottages many times previously, and never having had a bad experience with their accommodation, we were looking forward to this accommodation described as "four star luxury". It certainly was not. It was a swiss type lodge that was in need of some tlc. It was dark, the lighting was inadequate, the curtains had obviously been washed but had shrunk so were half way up the windows, the bedroom was musty, the bed uncomfortable, the sofa in the lounge was not at all comfortable (and the previous occupants who had obviously had children, had left numerous crayons pens and paper under the sofa - so much for being hoovered!)!). The verandah on the lodge was littered with pebbles, leaves and an inordinate amount of cobwebs which prevented you from sitting at the table unless you brushed it thoroughly. Okay, I realise that in summer the wind can blow (particularly in Scotland) this verandah had not been swept for weeks!! The estate in itself is lovely but if these lodges are going to be described as "4* luxury then a lot of work needs to be done to bring them up to this standard.

We were a group of 8 and stayed in The Orchard Cottage and The MacNab Lodge for a couple of nights and we all wished we could have stayed a little longer. All I can say is everything was absolutely superb. The Cottage was really spacious and the views from the bedrooms were fantastic (despite the typically Scottish changeable weather which actually created the most amazing atmosphere!). Spotlessly clean, fabulous white fluffy towels and extremely well equipped eg dishwasher, washing machine etc really everything you could possibly need. The estate is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area, lots of great walks, adventures (we challenged ourselves to Go Ape in Aberfoyle - 8 over 40 year old girls swinging through the trees) and lots of great eating places! We will most certainly be back! Thanks to everyone at Leny, the booking process was easy, Alan was always on hand if you needed anything. Just amazing, that's all I can say!

I stayed here from the 7th of November with my partner and dog for 7 nights.
When we walked in the lodge we were very pleased the lodge is so welcoming, warm and spacious and it has perfect flooring especially having our dog with us the lodge is tiled throughout except the bed rooms which is soft beige carpeting.
May I say the bed in the double bedroom is fantastic so comfortable you don't want to get up even with the stunning landscape that surrounds you.
The kitchen has all the utensils you will need and more and all the fixtures and fittings are that of a excellent standard.
One can appreciate the Denby crockery!
Was truly a home from home.
It was our dogs first holiday and she thoroughly felt settled and loved going for long walks in the area.
We will definitely be back,
Thanks to Alan, Barry and team!
Thank you
